Hello!

When I start to run Holdem Manger 2 I get the following error message: "An error has occurred while hooking dll"

I saw another user wrote same problem in the summer. What could I do?

Hold em manager 2 is out of business. They ended the support for it since the beginning of the year. ( no new updates )

You need now Hold em manager 3. Which is very fine. I use it and iam very pleased by it.
I think you can upgrade your existing holdem manager 2 license for around 60 $ on their site.

Unfortunately HM2 support ended on Dec 31, 2020. I am happy to still try to assist you with this particular ticket but please be advised going forward that you will need to upgrade to HM3 for future technical support. You can read more about the HM2 End Of Life here.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

If you continue to have problems please review the following links and follow the instructions below to try and resolve this issue.

1. Open a command prompt as administrator
2. Type:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
- Please, mind the spaces in this line! It takes some time until it starts (minutes), and the whole process is like 30 minutes long
3. Type:
sfc /scannow
- again, mind the space.
4. Restart the computer

If you continue to have problems:

Please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel - System & Security - Administrative Tools or Start - Search - 'Event Viewer') - Windows Logs - Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1921/How+Do+I+Send+a+Log+File+to+Holdem+Manager+Support%3F

When sending any files please zip them (select all files with CTRL+A > right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then in Windows File Explorer right-click (DropBox Icon) 'Share' > 'Create Link' > Copy Link' and right-click > 'Paste' the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using https://wetransfer.com/ or https://wetransfer.com/ or google drive and copy/paste the download link to us.
