Ah haha yes I see. To me is not really money (maybe also because it is just $2), but they are more like 'points'. Points that will become money one day when I can cash out. And I always want more points, and I hate to lose them ... at the same time I understand that at short term I have no influence on exactly what happens. Hard to explain. At 1 side I care and at the other side I don't care about results ... I care enough to try to play well, but if that doesn't work out, so be it ..

You play 1 table at a time I think? I am not saying you should play more, but sometimes boredom can be a cause to be on loose money, start getting involved in too many spots of which many might not be profitable. I don't know ... could be.
I play 1-2 tables only myself as well.

Same for me in a way. I started playing with them as points. And it worked. Really well. ... until it didn't The masking effect passed and I know it was change money. So I need to re-angle the approach.

Regarding the tables I started with 1, now I'm very comfortably (in terms of time to think, mark, note etc) playing 2. But I fully agree now that If I go back to 1 I might be playing many more hands that I'm capable of realising their equity! maybe it's time for a third? Quite soon I think but not today. I have 4-5 big leaks to plug and then I can give it a try.

The time has come for a great Reset. Old school way.

So not happy with my play, not happy with the results. Lost my path.

Thought I was hitting villains top range, thought I played not A game but not bad. and I'd say I would quit for a while to get my head in the right mindset again. Played some STT SnG's and some Spin's where I feel more comfortable and managed to build back some confidence. BUT...

Looking back at the replays of NL2 Zoom... ooohhh boyyy!!!

To be honest before the replays I thought I'd quit for a while, a lot of things are happening personal and business wise at the same time, but after watching them I'm getting the idea that this is the "lesson".

The money is silly, it's coffee money. It's a matter of commitment, consistency, personal resilience, principle and all those soft skills that matter a lot down the line.
So I'm not quitting, but I'm resetting.

During my database check also I say a hugeeeeeeeeeeee difference in small sessions winrate and long session winrate . Also my maniac habits have resurfaced not knowing when to quit the hand and move on.

Sooooo from now on the target is :
A♠: 5 minutes pre-session routine going over marked hands and bad habits (soon to be focusing on good habits options, but we need to stop the leakage first)

2♠: 15 minute sessions with target of A, A-, B game and nothing less. Try to be talkative during the session as if recording it (will record it in the future)

3♠: Capturing the summary of the session in my log book. game ranking and things to remember/study

4♠: Post & Leverage on Hands analysis section massively.

(9,999 to go. Let's hope not all will be needed :f_ugly: )

Hi nutural,

It sounds like you where able to boil your mistakes in the replays down to more or less specific things?

Good luck at the felt! :gl:

Hello Stack!

pretty much yes I would say. And i think that was also one of the issues. Got overexcited and took it a bit too far, too fast trying to implement a lot of things.

So i sort what I'm focusing now is :

- be more careful vs 3bet pre especially the bigger ones
- not get too heavy conclusions based on a small sample. or at least do it on not huge pots
- reduce bluffs or bluff mainly people you have notes on that they can fold or their stats are showing it (but have enough sample )
- give a bit more credit to random aggression.
