PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.02/$0.05 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG (Hero): $5.14 (103 bb)
MP: $5.33 (107 bb)
CO: $3.71 (74 bb)
BU: $11.16 (223 bb)
SB: $5.00 (100 bb)
BB: $14.32 (286 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is UTG with K Q
Hero raises to $0.15, 2 players fold, BTN calls $0.15, 2 players fold

Flop: ($0.37) 9 6 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Is this a flop good for c-bet? with my hand and with my range? I think this flop hits BTN better and I have two overcards with a spade so I think checking is better. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that this is a good hand for a delayed CBet -- so whatever falls OTT, I would CBet then, unless it is a 7 or 8

Also, I moved this to the hand discussion forum, so others get a chance to look it over.

yes it connects to BTN range 87 gets there 66, 55, 99 sometimes. He can call a lot, draws etc. Checking is best, might check call and see what the turn brings.
Wouldnt bother too much with delayed cbets oop. Just check and see if you improve, you also have a backdoor straight which is nice sometimes.

Yes you have nothing and it's a good texture for the caller. If he checks back standard line should be to double barrel.
