Hold'em No Limit - $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players

UTG: $9.34 (93 bb)
MP: $39.86 (399 bb)
CO: $3.99 (40 bb)
BU (Hero): $12.00 (120 bb)
SB: $10.93 (109 bb)
BB: $10.91 (109 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BTN with A A
UTG raises to $0.28, 2 players fold, Hero 3-bets to $1.19, 2 players fold, UTG calls $0.91

Flop: ($2.53) Q 8 K (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.82, UTG calls $0.82

Turn: ($4.17) 9 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: ($4.17) 5 (2 players)
UTG bets $2.97, BU (Hero) folds

The spot overwhelmed me because his hand range UTG should also be quite tight.

Flop: Unfortunately I don't really know which bet sizing would be right here against his hand range.

Turn: The 9 is a scare card for me flush comes straight comes with J10. Which is why I decided to check behind.

River: Here I see myself beaten, I rarely see an option to call here.

You block the ace high flush on the turn and you can still hit the flush on the river. Read less I would go for a value Cbet on the turn, but if villain would raise you need to fold.

River is tricky against a unknown. You beat only a bluff I think.

I think the hand is played good but I am thinking about how many FD’s V can have here since Ac is in our hand and Kc,Qc and 9c is on the board, this blocks almost all Flushes villain would have. I think KK,QQ may 4-bet a good portion pre or raise flop at least because of the draws out there.

He doesn't have full stack so I am going to assume he is a fish and that does mean he can have anything here.
I think the range you assigning him for calling a 3bet is a little off maybe? He might show up with JT but that's just one hand. The 9 completes the str8 and flush yes, but the 9 would most likely make him a set. I think.
I'm thinking AQ, AK (which you are blocking) and QQ (you 3betting his UTG open looks strong, but would raise flop), KK (might 4bet shove, if flatted would raise flop), JJ, TT, 99, 88, maybe 77? There also a few combos of 2 pair, 89, QK.
It's not bad play, its just a horrible flop for AA.
I posted a similar hand where I was told on boards like this AA should be wary.

Thank you. I thought the river was more of a fold.

How would you have best played the hand then?

Yes, that was also my thought that I have to play carefully here and not make an overplay.
