PokerStars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.02/$0.05 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: $5.64 (113 bb)
MP (Hero): $5.00 (100 bb)
CO: $5.72 (114 bb)
BU: $5.14 (103 bb)
SB: $11.46 (229 bb)
BB: $6.04 (121 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP with 5 A
UTG raises to $0.12, Hero 3-bets to $0.45, 4 players fold, UTG calls $0.33

Flop: ($0.97) 2 4 K (2 players)
UTG bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.77) J (2 players)
UTG bets $0.88, MP (Hero) folds

Total pot: $1.77 (Rake: $0.07)
UTG wins $1.70

This is one of the older hands as I review them.
Preflop I raise/fold A5s HJ vs UTG

Flop hits both ranges almost the same

I assume villain's range could be: QQ-88,AQs-AJs,KQs,AKo

Therefore should I cbet with my hand? If so I prefer small sizing like 1/3 maybe 1/4 could be fine, too.

Given my hand I have this equity:

Board: K♥4♠2♣
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    70.71%  70.19%   0.52% { QQ-88, AQs-AJs, KQs, AKo }
MP3    29.29%  28.76%   0.52% { A5s }

But the villain donks. I don't think I can continue with my hand. I should fold.

good stuff.

consider calling w the backdoor draw A♥ 5♥. your combo is a clear fold.

Preflop OK - 3B/fold - 3B bluff, fold flop vs bet for me.
You have only gutshot SD vs 40% pot bet, without any other backdoor combo, so it is 4 outs vs 1/3,5. In his rang could be AK - top pair. If A could come, it will helps him too for his better kicker like AQs, AJs.

Probably in most cases is. I put there an optimal calling range. I don't know how to do it better.

I have found a similar hand. So according to the previous comment, I assume this one is played ok? Or would you do something different?
According to the result villain's hand, I widen up his/her range to:
QQ-88,AQs-ATs,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,AQo+

So my equity is:

Board: 8♠Q♠7♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP3    80.65%  80.15%   0.50% { QQ-88, AQs-ATs, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, AQo+ }
BU     19.35%  18.86%   0.50% { Ad4d }

Not even on the river? Try to steal from e. g. 88, 99, Ahighs?
