I think the big mistake in this hand was calling the flop raise.
It should have been a fold right then or a jam.

What say you?

I cannot see SB playing like this without the straight or a set — and and because of the flat pre, I lean toward sets.

Stats:
:diamond:  SB — 23/4 AF 2.5 but only 147 hands
:diamond:  CO — 8 hands only

Pacific Poker - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $5.00
SB: $12.04
BB: $1.07
UTG: $1.76
Hero (MP): $6.88
CO: $3.00

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has K♠:K♦:

fold, Hero raises to $0.15, CO calls $0.15, fold, SB calls $0.13, fold

Flop: ($0.50, 3 players) Q♣:8♦:J♦:
SB checks, Hero bets $0.25, CO calls $0.25, SB raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50

Turn: ($2.75, 3 players) 7♠:
SB bets $1.81, fold, fold

SB wins $2.59
Rake paid $0.16

Hi Vorpal,

i guess if you call the flop you will have to call again on the turn...

I would like to shove the flop...
1. you have possible the best hand and shove to gain value (can`t get outplayed on later streets :-))
2. you have fold equity
3. you protect your hand from drawing hands and give them a bad price....

Yeah, I guess.
I charge maximum price for all the draws, but there is no way to improve against a made straight, and there are so many cards I would hate to see.
I actually considered folding the flop.

xr on that board looks super strong into 2 opponents. A fold might be to nitty otf, you do have outs vs a set and some backdoor draws.

Maybe, right? I think the worst he might show up here is tp + combo draw?

Shoving flop seems over play. I don't expect you get any action of worse and with the :diamond: blocker it's less likely villian has a draw. Also villian seems really passive. That makes it more likely villian has at least top pair or better. If you shove you are hoping villian can over play top pair and that seems optimistic.

There is only sense that oponent have T9, Adxd or 88, the hans SB could call. Tutn not giving some special card for his move.
More less he is trying protect his Adxd or 88 with big bet. If he had T9 he like to get call.
Fold flop would be nitty, fold turn looks OK.

Multi way I prefer to Cbet for value and protection. I don't think it's smart to Cbet smaller with at least 1 loose passive villian in the hand.

getting pot odds of 2.5 to 1 on the turn, we are ahead of any KQ combos cant he have about 6 of them still, I wasn't sure about putting AQ in his range but that would give him more top pairs that we are ahead of even if we lose to two-pairs, sets and T9 we are still ahead of some stuff unless we think villain is not taking this line with any top pair hands.

This is one of those spots where in a headsup pot you would often pot control this sort of overpair vs aggro opponents. It could be good to just bet/fold vs passive opponents.

In a 3way pot when the board is so coordinated, you definitely should bet/fold. Even vs a range that contains some bluffs like AT and flushdraws, your equity vs his raising range is just dog shit and even on the best of turn runouts you cannot even continue playing.
