Dirty turn today in 3bet pot.

I think 3bet versus BU is pretty standard. Flop cbetting 1/3, turn give me boat and barreled half to create less than SPR 1 for river. Villain shoves turn but I suppose we are not folding without strong reads. I also thought KK or K3 would often just call in position as they need so little protection.

Hmm I wonder if its normal thing in general but Mondays seem to be lower traffic days in cash games? Started session moment ago but decided to end as there was only one player in plo50 (seemed aggro) and not that much in plo25 either. Just cant remember to had this issue in sng side. Might be good idea to have Monday as holiday.

Did make 25€ in 5 minutes though

First hand in this one. Got free flop (would have been fold to raise), hit mid set but no support so I just called flop. Got blank turn and villain pot again so went for x-r here. Awesome river for improving villain as well. So thanks to villain for trap limp pre.

Then this was versus the aggro looking villain though just few hands I played. I tend to not feel confident playing HU plo which is kind of reason I tend to stay away from it. Unless opponent is bad enough. I think this line was reasonable though we definitely dont want to get action for turn bet.

You've got more interesting hands in a week than I got in a year.
Probably should reconsider my gametype choice. However, bleeding dry on blinds and 3bets is also not fun :-)

Personally I have never found holdem cash that interesting but has not been issue with omaha. Could of course just be about learning new game that affects more on that.

One of craziest hands in a while from today. Usually 3betting pre but SB had been way too aggro so hoped he would squeeze. Happens and that opens some crazy action.

Got spot to x-r turn as semibluff today. Pretty standard line imo. Would also play some flopped sets and some T8xx in same way. Well TT+fd also possibility.

Quite a session today. Good moments and bad moments. One of worst was this one:

CO open, BU call, I squeeze from BB, CO fold and BU call. Cbet half on flop and shove pot on turn. Villain had whopping 3.17% on flop. One of those  moments.

Decided to slowplay flop (rare for me) but yeah should know how it ends.

But this maniac did make session still on profit side. Of course bit scary to click call on river but villain had seemed somewhat on maniac side and had been getting more and more aggro recently. I suppose his thinking (if there was any) was that I am unlikely to have 2x (which is true). This time side cards helped awesomely though :)

Played one more short session. Started to get tired though. But have to post these three hands that happened in same table in row.

1st hand:

Spoiler

Very disconnected hand but versus very high vpip limper should be fine as ds. Flop raising top 2 with bd fd versus donk. Happy to see blank turn but unlikely hand for villain.

2nd hand:

Spoiler

Then right away crappy AAxx that I get to 3bet versus shortstack and try to iso into low SPR HU pot. Previous hand winner cold calls though. Dry top set on flop so clear pot and we get it in 3way in great shape with only 7 direct outs for villains.

3rd hand:

Spoiler

Then next hand I get MOAH (Mother Of All Hands). Kind of hoping to get 3bet from BU though at same time also bit worried as there is like 100 times I have got big stack to get crushed by some spew tilt play right after. So indeed I get action. I open EP, MP call, BU 3bet, BB cold call, I 4bet and everyone call. Just your usual 240bb pot when coming to flop. Flop is semi decent and even 4way with one player alling, SPR 0.25 versus MP and SPR 0.5 versus BU shove is mandatory.

I actually had least equity on flop but this time that 10% had awesome timing. But yeah this was basically preflop allin and basically all villains overplayed their holdings. MP call is fine, BU 3bet is horrible, BB cant cold call profitably with mediocre rundown and even MP call versus my 4bet investing half of his stack is most likely questionable. But beatifull runout indeed

Good example hand here about why to just call with nuts can be very reasonable in omaha. Well especially with straight. Villain had massive freeroll but somehow river was indeed blank one. Not sure if pot raise from me was best but my thinking was that if villain has made hand and I just called turn he might not believe into straight. His 3bet basically makes no sense as raise-call with weaker is not happening. But maybe someone does. We just payed some unnecessary rake and actually both lost 1bb in that hand :f_eek:

Not so sure about crushing but at least some edge for sure. Yesterday was fairly swingy day and thought to post some hands from it:

This was nasty flop but thought that SPR 1 I just have to shove and hope for best. This time drawing practically dead though.

In this one I am pretty sure theory wise we cant bet-fold with two bd fd but issue is that in reality I dont see much light raises. So even if unlikely often people will show up with QQ or two pair. With SPR 4 or less I would just pot flop but here it was SPR 5. Probably doesnt matter too much though so potting might be best anyway. Lets check equity versus villain hand.... Hmm almost 40% so I suppose its not totally absurd. After betting half pot there is 22 for pot of 54 so we need pretty much 40%. Of course versus set we are in lot worse state but maybe villain sometimes has some wrap or plain Qx. Had no reads.

These ones are always bit annoying to lose. Good example of some people thinking double suitedness alone make hand strong. Well villain hand has some connectivity but quite trashy hand anyway imo. Well his play was still way better than other guy with AK99r.

This hand also does bring question of whatever folding in BB shoes would be fine option. Well I think 4bet is best option with 200bb stack. Any deeper though not so sure. Flop is not greatest for him but probably fine to stack off. Though I think potting would be more reasonable to get max fe.

Another big pot versus same fellow was with me having AAxx with deep stacks. Miracle flop obviously. Went with 1/3 pot bet creating SPR 0.75 or so for turn if villain call. I think theory wise villain should also just call my bet as I am very polarized here. Like I think just checking any two pair. Top set+ I would bet-call. Then bet-fold especially AA with A♣:. Though it is very rare spot and aggressor is usually unlikely to continue bluff on turn. So I suppose some protection is also valuable for SB. Also preflop squeeze with AQQ2ds definitely fine but calling versus 4bet? Perhaps ok but with 4 not adding much value I would likely fold.

Well this last one was from side of me facing 4bet. I think these kind of Axxxds with connected 3 side cards are gto wise call versus 4bet. Advantage is that those side cards are very often alive and doesnt get hurt as much from villain 4bet range. Though perhaps this was still too loose with two gaps in hand? I think it was fine anyway. Flop I would have folded without gs which proved this time vital from result view :)

Yeah that guy had actually folded couple times versus 3bet which is indeed more of exception in player pool. Today two buyin up or so with no huge hole at start. Was kind of nice :)

Had two sizable pots lost in end of session losing 3 bins in those. One was AAxx vs KKxx preflop allin versus fairly weak KK. Those are nasty as you are in one of best case scenarios to see KK. Other one was with AKQ4ds on AT2 where I had nfd versus JJ22 for close to 400bb pot.

I suppose that is "issue" I am happy to create. That said I thought to have Monday as holiday but did play short session moment ago anyway. Pretty nice 2.5 bin profit in it. Anyway this hand was interesting. Somewhat from my view but more from villain view from BU :f_wink:

So from my view its easy open and I think ok call versus squeeze. Its really borderline though playing in most likely 3way pot in bad position. 3way decreasing value of my suits. Plus price is obviously not great. I would have folded without absolutely perfect connectivity though not that I would open too many weaker similar hand from MP anyway. Flop I hit pretty well but of course also in tough way blocking boat outs and unblocking straight and fd. Versus BU I am ready to stack off with SPR 2 but being SPR 3 versus CO make it tougher. If BU pots I think shove is only option. Versus half pot not sure if call would be option? Again because of higher SPR versus CO and pretty common thing is that people check very often to preflop aggressor.

When flop goes checked I am not worried about BU range really on this turn. Turn is mostly blank as 56 or 6T especially for 3bettor is so rare. So I went for half pot turn lead with plan to fold versus CO raise and call versus BU. Though I didnt expect to get raise from BU but it did happen. So it looks like BU is saying he has slowplayed monster like QQJT or AJTx+nfd or very unlikely 56xx. Just unlikely and snap called that.

But what BU should do in this hand? He is SPR 2 so if betting flop I think its best to pot for max fe and call versus shove. Thing is that he blocks straight heavily and has nut gs and K or J can be out as well if behind. So for such low SPR bet-fold even for small size doesnt make too much sense. Problem with his turn raise though is that he reps extremely narrow range after flop check in position and I only need around 30% equity to call. So I am not really folding any better hand. Some weaker semibluffs could be bet-folded I suppose. But should he call versus my bet? Issue again is that he doesnt have that many nut outs. So lot of tough decisions on river and he doesnt have e.g. K♣: to have better bluff on flushing river. So perhaps either pot flop and hope for best or fold turn?

Funny hand today as I ended into your standard 5way 3bet pot.

MP had been open raising wide, CO was calling lot, SB had been on somewhat too aggro with 3bets and BB was unknown. Hand is perhaps too weak to get involved with 7 and 2 not giving much value but position and two high suits decided to call. Then SB squeeze and everyone call and I get absurd pot odds so called.

In flop SB and BB shove and I was thinking if anyone else get involved I will fold. But it comes folded to me and I need bit below 30% equity to call.

This hand is interesting mainly from flop decision wise (from my side). After I donk flop turn 3/4 is sizing I tend to use in rainbow board and as hand is still nuts on river its easy pot and give villain decision to believe or not. Obviously by river I say I have nuts or bluff. Villain had been pretty reg looking. Didnt really see any play so far I could have pointed as bad one. Which was reason I sit out soon anyway as playing oop versus ok player deep stacks not so great :)

Anyway theory wise I think this hand make lot of sense as donk bet without read that villain is too cbet happy. As this is flop villain should check lot of time and I do unblock all two pair and sets which are often calling versus half pot but might check. Also having redraws. x-r would of course be option as well which could have worked this time. Though would I have got three street action then is different question as x-r, bet, bet would be stronger looking play.

From villain view theory wise I believe set with 9 blocker is going to be call. But not nice spot to be in.

This one with similar theme than above but happier result. Was wondering if its better to raise this on flop or not. I just called because of having no redraw but then again I do have two 8 which make chance of villain freerolling lot smaller. But yeah villain did double barrel high frequency so its nice to show with nuts on turn and go for surprising raise. VIllain did timebank to the end so probably set. Though its one of those spots that having straight blocker and two pair is likely better than top set with no straight blocker. Though not line I would take often as bluff.
