Was it correct to 3bet preflop here and fold OTF?

Any info on the villains in the hand would be great. Against unknowns I would just call. It's tough to get 3 villains to fold with a 3bet and you play in position most of the time.

On the flop I would fold as well. I expect villain has often at least top pair based on the pre-flop action, but it's tricky without reads or stats.

In most parts I agree with @SDK1987

AQo is not a mandatory 3b here (in my playbook at least).

Your hand is a gr8 example why. You get into an akward post flop spot where it's hard to peel a card due to stack sizes

AK is a mandatory 3b for me, while AQ requires some info on villains.
