I took the survey from the link provided here and I have been raised to Gold+ here, I don't recall getting an e-mail and neither have I ever deposited into PokerStars. Just to let you know 
Yea, i took the survey too (from here, i didn't get an email) and I just got promoted to silver. I got 2 wrong 
But yea, works for me. I'll probably be able to keep it up but it's cool to have it early i guess. Thanks for posting

And now I'm GoldStar. Nice!
I got 3000 VPPs, I didn't get any extra FPPs to spend, though. My FPP balance didn't change.

Yeah, when he said points i taught he was talking about FPP.
I think the best thing to be Gold is to be able to participate those vip freerolls. I dont think im gonna be able to gather enough points for the $285 bonus.
What was the point of saying it wouldn't work if you didn't receive an e-mail though?
rough, I did it without getting the email, and never received anything! I only got one wrong so should have gotten 3k vpp... that kinda sucks! oh well
