UTG is a reg

SB is 56/11/af:inf, 9 hands

BB is an unknown but probably a recreational player

PokerStars - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

Hero (BTN): 101.08 BB
SB: 94.08 BB
BB: 86.92 BB
UTG: 101.4 BB
MP: 310.56 BB
CO: 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q♠ K♦

UTG raises to 2.48 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 2.48 BB, SB calls 2.08 BB, BB calls 1.48 BB

Flop: (9.92 BB, 4 players) 6♠ Q♣ Q♦
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 2 BB, SB calls 2 BB, BB calls 2 BB, UTG raises to 10 BB, Hero calls 8 BB, fold, BB calls 8 BB

Turn: (41.92 BB, 3 players) 8♦
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

River: (41.92 BB, 3 players) 6♦
BB bets 40.04 BB, fold, Hero ? ?

I bet small on flop to disguise my range a bit like may be I have 44/55/77/A6s/K6s/bluff but after getting CR, I slowed down to observe.

On river, we lose to Q8/66 but we beat 6x/flush/any PP that missed the board.

Thoughts?

to disguise my range

You cant. Almost impossible. MW pots players are more honest a big portion of the time. Dont play tricky big hands without good reason

So bet big, potsize. You have very strong hand against 3 opponents. You want to build pot till the river. As played i will stack off right on the flop.

As played i will bet OTT. Flush draw appears witch is a potentional danger

As played i will shove river. Target is 6x hand witch the fish will never fold

I would bet the flop bigger. Around half pot against 3 villains and continue the turn. As played I would shove the river. You only losing against 66 and Q8. That would be nasty if villain would have that.

I think another temptation to just call is because whatever Qx we had outkicked now ties our hand in which we don't really wanna increase the pot size due to high rake, but because the villain is likely a fish, we should shove nevertheless. So I think I agree with the comments. Thanks guys.

Is this a call vs UTG anyways? And on the river, yes he can beat us with very small portion of his range, but what worse does he have that can call? If he is reg then he wont even be playing backdor fd in 4way like that (maybe A6 of diamonds if he is crazy? but he dont have it) and if he do then he certainly wont pot bet flush on this river.

By looking at his stack sizes, he could be a fish and if so, I think fish is capable of anything.

For your eyes only:

River: (41.92 BB, 3 players) 6♦
BB bets 40.04 BB, fold, Hero raises to 88.6 BB and is all-in, BB calls 34.4 BB and is all-in

Hero shows Q♠ K♦ (Full House, Queens full of Sixes)
(Pre 38%, Flop 97%, Turn 84%)
BB shows A♦ J♦ (Flush, Ace High)
(Pre 62%, Flop 3%, Turn 16%)
Hero wins 182.8 BB
But the irony is I came so very close to just calling on river which was a mistake but in thoughts only.

Ah, sorry I thought its UTG. Then without looking at spoiler Id say its obvious shove vs fish. Although Id also say its a bet turn with fish in the pot.
