Only a little quick session today. On my way back up hahaha

Big swings in a small sample even out over time.
When you have a couple of hundred thousand hands, this will be just a small blip
I think I will be pushing up the daisies before I get close to hundred thousand hands

You would be surprised.
Since I joined PokerStars in 2009 I've played over a million according to them

Nice!
Profit is one of my favourite things
Update just got JJ against TT with just the river card and all in - guess what he hits a TEN. No other site does this to me as much as stars. Hahaha
Onwards and upwards.

I'm guessing that you play in PokerStars more than any other site — for me the king of the 2-outer river hits is 888

No I play GG and 88 mostly. I just aint lucky at stars ![]()
They are probably all the same, its just in my head constantly when playing at Pokerstars - need to sort it haha
Little update still not playing that much on stars. Took a few cash outs just to see +$4.84 compared to $3.63 without - do I or dont I continue cashing out. ![]()

There are situations where cashout makes sense.
I haven't exactly figured out what those situations are — but I do cashout occasionally — especially at the very beginning or very end of a session.
Just playing 100 hand every day on stars for the time being. Guy limps Kings in the sb I have 3T and the flop is TT2
That will teach him to limp hahaha

Very nice giraffe!
Nice to see people punishing limpers.
It looks like you took a bad beat yourself just past the 7150 line.
106 hand played this morning. Not good, card dead, but I used the cash out feature and will be from now on as stars is corrupt hahaha
Only lost $0.42 compared to $1.53 if I had not used the cashout feature.
Results to date start bank $10 - new bank $18.09.

Small sessions it makes sense to use cashout in certain circumstances.
Note that these are my own conclusions, and there are a lot of other opinions
OK to cash out when you have a small edge, multi-way pot or both. Reason: You profit, but if you don't cash out likely lose. Example: You have 40% equity in a 3-way pot
Near the end of a session
I never cash out if I'm behind, even if it would cost me more money.
That's definitely just me — I see that most players on PokerStars short deck are cashing out both ways.
300 hand update - took just the one cashout which did not work out this time. Bank $18.01

There is a time and place for cashing out — I've not figured out what it is though ![]()
In general though, I'll cashout toward the end of a session if I'm only marginally ahead in a big pot.
But that's about it.
No cash outs today and I have now taken the feature off. Going to take the shit like a man from now on and just moan as normal ![]()
Roller coaster 100 hands today, lost 2 min buyins straight away with sets over sets
Clawed it back with a set of tens over the guys Queens. $1.19 profit on the day.

Not sure, I run it on GG and all it seems to do is split the pots and give GG the rake. I think its best to just play with nothing like on 888.
I had 66 against 88 all in on 888 yesterday and hit a 6 on the river - gave a big yipeeeeeeee, the wife thought I had won the lottery hahaha
