This was from two days ago. I dont think I had any specific read on villain.

I think this kind of escalated. Preflop is probably already bit too wide. I mean K+three lower card rundown with K high suit is ok hand but I think 543 is bit too small?

Flop I decided to stab half pot as its range wise way better for me and I have very little to hope for if checking. Not saying that just giving up would be bad option. We probably want bit more than nut low straight gs :)

On turn A♦: is interesting card. AA is very possible but often people dont just x-c that much with fd on 3bet pots imo. Though on this flop there should be fair amount of those in well build range. So either I give up or potentially barrel turn with idea to triple on unpaired river.

Went with another half pot on turn to keep SPR high for river and make second stab cheaper is case villain goes for x-r. In reality I would likely bet bigger if actually having it to get more from hand like AA. But exploitatively I doubt it matter too much. I just wanted to avoid scenario where river SPR would be low and villain would be more likely to think he cant fold set etc.

Not sure if I hate this play or not :f_p:

without knowing your hand i like the betting patterns and also the sizing, especially turn 1/2 sizing gives a hard to call near potsize left river barrel.

knowing your hand I just wish for a better blocker than 3d.

question is if and when to step on brakes now. If you had like K765d instead the problem remains. I like the stab OTF regardless because we have no SDV. that problem remains on other streets.

you have a good point on villain x/c flop range doesnt have much FDs in 3bet pot. the ones left are bluffcatching from turn on. now if I finally would try to find a check its probably on turn, otherwise I think the last barrel is a must play.

I really like your play on each street. You can easily overbluff this spot but You don't need to balance vs average players. If You notice a player starts to slowplay or bluffcatch light, then You change gears and start to valuebet thinner.

On turn he can fold Kk, qq that decide to xc, probable with a gs or weak oesd. Usually opponents are going to fast play most FD's on flop. Tx, pair +SD can also fold on the turn, so I think You have a Lot of fold equity. Once he call, You can shove river. Many times he folds AA, probably not (all SD fail and is good spot to bluffcatch vs aggro players), but I think he folds hands like AT, A8... Who knows, probably he folds a baby flush (although I think someone rarely does it in 3b pots), the thing is that You have some fold equity because whitout having a read, many players call light vs 2 bets and fold vs third barrel.
