PF 3bet with A9s vs underfolding villain

2) Yes you should. There are some drawing type hands that will call you a bet. Maybe weaker aces if villian is fishy enough

3) No, your thought process is not correct. First it's you that have range advantage, second if you believe villian has stronger hands in his range then you should not 3bet him with this hand and third you should fold river.

I believe check/call is reasonable. Flushdraws and gutshot draws brick so it's a good spot to turn your hand into a bluffcatcher and let him bluff his missed draws

1) Its ok, you can 3bet some Axs from SB
2) You can bet, you can check but I would be more inclined to check as villain can have many better Ax
3) I think you can put small raise there against this sizing. I would definitely only call against half pot or bigger.

It's villain depended, but on NL2 I wouldn't 3bet bluff to often out of position.

I would most likely 3 barrel top pair and the flush draw on the turn. If you make it around half pot on every street you can shove the river.

To a player that's underfolding unless you don't care about variance and can handle the swings, play less hands against those people and try and play in position with the weaker part of your range which A9s definitely would be here.

With A9s I might give off a call preflop instead of 3betting or just fold. If you hit a big flop continue, if not give up the 2.5bb, which is nothing really.

I lean toward folding this honestly. As against players who underfold you usually only need something like top pair top kicker to stack them as they will bluffcatch with middle pair a lot of the time. So play hands that have good TPTK potential like AK, AQ, AJ, KQ or pocket pairs that can make overpairs and sets like TT+ and just value bet these hands large sizing on most boards.

1. Unless V is calling 3bets really wide and you can make this for value I think its a fold.
2. Yes bet the flop, lots of worse hands calling you here
3. As a thought process try to get into the habit of asking why you are betting. Are you betting to get called by worse (value) or to make V fold incorrectly (bluff). If value, what worse hands will call your bet? If bluff, what better hands fold to your bet. That will help you avoid taking weird x/b/x lines.

I like a b/b/xc line on this hand, but as played I think xc is the right move. Betting folds out all his draws, so you would only be getting value from his Jx hands (KJs, QJs JTs)
