I stayed on too late and I paid the price for it, accidentally lost some money towards the end through sheer tiredness. Lesson learnt but I cant help staying on because theres loose players in abundance at this time of morning.

Hand Analysis 1 - Running it twice - is it worth it in the long run?

I'm really struggling if I should turn off run it twice because sometimes it does save me and I know the moment I turn it off, I'm gonna lose through stupid 1 or 2 outers. But here is an example where I had the player dominated more or less and he manages to runner runner flush me. Whats your opinions guys/gals?

Hand Analysis 2 - Everyone loves a hero call

Under normal circumstances I would have folded this hand but this player comes out of nowhere and I have no data on him and starts betting into me like crazy? I refused to believe this guys story and the hand speaks for itself. Good decision and I'm very happy with these hands because I rarely play this hand like this. AJ is one of those easily dominated hands when youre up against aggression and no hope for a possible straight or flush.

Nice profit, about two times running I think on ggpoker when I takie this one time often I lose. Yesterday I take pay out when I catch set with tens and opponent has only pair of tens but if I don't także payout from pot I lose after running running straight (remember when I lose with 99 on flop 954 vs A4, because turn and river put Ace)...

Haha yeah I guess you’re right, I mean it all balances out in the long run

Nice little morning session where I dabbled in NL16 and quite honestly, I found it easier than NL10 because nobody ever plays it and you just find recreational players on there. There was only one table available but it stayed at a consistent 9 players. It was a nice table where I won around $11 (around 70bb). My other tables on NL10 were good as well. someone wrecked my world by crushing my KK with JJ but the poker gods had mercy by giving me some insane hits to redeem my cash stack.

Had the worst game I've ever had in my life. At my lowest I was down nearly $80 but I was determined it was just bad luck (yes I tilted a little because I refused to believe my luck was that bad). Every single one of my AA hands either got folded to me or they got absolutely crushed. I'm going to post 3 times where my aces got crushed. Literally I think every single AA, KK or QQ got crushed in this session. All my profit was nearly got from broadening my range because we was getting short handed and they simply wasnt giving value to textured flops. I cannot believe I even made a profit after 6 hours.

THESE 3 HANDS ALONE COST ME AROUND $100 in loses

Disregarding whether I could have played it differently or I shouldnt have gone all in or not is all dependant on the table and I believed it was the right thing because of the actions from the player previously or how they bet etc. The one where the guy had a donk 3 of a kind 4s is an example where he normally only played prem hands before that and I thought he had AK. He must have lucked out because his VPIP was something like 14, no way was he playing donk hands like that often. The other two was sheer bad luck and pre flop all ins im very sure.

This hands vs your AA look similar like Russian players when they must catch IT on turn or river.
On ggpoker from last tournaments of course must eliminate by Russians. Good that they can't play on pokerstars I don't like them.
I know this feeling when everybody folder to your AA, I don't remember when I go all in preflop with aces. But when I have KK somebody often must have AA.

I think that’s the hardest part about micros. The fact that they could be pushing all in with literally anything and that “bet sizing” is rarely a reliable variable, when in later limits it would be. It’s EXTREMELY tilting. But yes I understand you now lol. I’ve never had it on the scale that I had it last night.

Think I was just tired this game. I had amazing luck at the start and kept my profit for a while and yet again my Aces got cracked with someone doing a donk call for 30bb with 66 preflop, who even does that?
Then another mistake I did was thinking the short stack was the only one in the hand and ANOTHER donk calls my all in with pair of kings - jack kicker. You have to assume youre up at least two pair, or three of a kind. Just insane... I would have even won the hand by sheer luck if he didnt call as I hit my straight
I had insane luck at the start then other players just get insanely lucky against me to tip the scales lol
I really did try to protect my profits.

Hand analysis 1 - my fatal mistake of not seeing the other player in the hand

It was one of those hands where I didnt wanna carry on the hand against the short stack by betting and I didnt wanna fold it against the short stack either because I didnt feel like he had an over pair pp, but even if he did, it was a small amount and most times I was probably good with a gutshot and 2 outs with my pp imo

Hand analysis 2 - who the f calls 30bb raise with 66? I expected better from NL16

If he had the JJ then he earned the money but in 9/10 of cases they would only call that with AA, KK, QQ or maybe rarely JJ. I made the right decision without a shadow of a doubt and his actions before never suggested he would play that filth, his VPIP was average at like 30%, a little high but no way maniac range. But clearly fish will do what he wants.

Hand Analysis 3 - ok this hand is probably debatable if I played this badly

This is a lesson learnt for me because I CANNOT bluff the river if I hadnt reraised previously but it was a good call from the villian and I didnt think he was capable of doing this sort of call. I knew 100% he had a small pp and thus the bet. I noted this down for future plays and I guess this is a lesson learnt.

Hand Analysis 4 - dream hand that we all fantasize about - we get quads on the turn vs full house (second nuts)

this hand speaks for itself, I knew he had something solid. Great hand but I just couldn't keep the profit from the whole session.

Overall, I didn't accumulate any loses and I got onto the leaderboards for 6/18c $15 prize and progress to the gold chests. So it's all solid progress.

Hand with AK I think opponent small donkbet turn and river more times he Has something than he bluffs. If You try bluff must be more sizing raise (for example 6$ on this spot) but I prefer easy fold.
Interesting donkbet with set on flop with 99, perfect turn card, I catch yesterday quads but on flop (with 99 too) on 3way action but I don't get action and value from opponents.
66 I fold on turn in first spot.

I'm def not an expert but what works for me is only playing 1 tournament on weekends (or when I have a lot of time) besides my cash game grind. When I play NL I only play the biggest ones with low expectations (like sunday storm or anything). I do have to say tournaments are tilting me way more than cash because of the hours you put in to sometimes not even make the money ( I also always dream of winning it in advance )

I dunno what’s worse, busting before the bubble or busting early AF because you just played terrible haha

I had a good run for a long while and my luck was bound to change. Every single bit of bad luck I could get, I got. It got to the point where I knew my aces were cracked but I called anyway because I was tilted af. Not the end of the world. Just should have logged off before I lost more. It's draining when you just run out of luck. Hopefully run better the next time.

As you can see from the all in adjustment, I shouldn't have lost as much as I should have.

I took the lessons from my last session and decided not to neglect my personal well being to achieve my poker goals because it only leads to tilting and loses. Decided to do some physical exercise, eat properly and socialise before playing and it gave me a much better outlook for this game. I had some brutal hands where I got unlucky but because I didn't tilt then I was managed to claw back and make a decent profit. Coupled with leaderboard rewards and chest awards, I have now got back all my loses from last night.

As you can see from my estimated EV, I've just had absolutely terrible luck and then as you can see I lost some more through being tilted yet again. I'm just in a vicious downswing thats all. I literally was making the right calls most of the time and people were just being donks. I was losing every single all in, I was losing through the river, I was getting no action with my decent pre flop cards despite being aggressive af and not knowing I could have had a good hand, I was getting aggression on my semi bluffs and no aggression on my made hands. I went from aggressive to passive constantly to try to mix it up, nothing would work.

It's just a downswing, I'm not bothered but it's just soul destroying.

I didnt lose too much to be honest but I'm just drained tonight.

Imagine this but throughout the whole session. I also had some sessions before that in which I had terrible luck as well but I managed to break even and have a break and start fresh.

I know that poker setup not work for us...
This hand with 55 I prefer fold, 55 doesn't block nothing so I don't try raise bluff on turn and with this sizing.
I try play tournaments last time but of course my AK when face QQ lose, 72 isn't the worst poker hand but this is AK haha.

Maybe it was a bad example but it's just an example where I was playing the player and not the cards.
Playing simple ABC poker all the time isnt profitable. This is a moment where I'll mix it up with pocket pairs, knowing they have higher cards, in this case I put him exactly on the hand he had, therefore I reraised knowing it was unprofitable for him to call. By all rights, everything is telling him to fold with a open ender because a reraise could suggest his two overs arent good ...

I'm playing like this because its this sort of play that defines you as a player. It's just it requires a lot of luck and reading situations well. I think I read most of the situations well.

But another hands you should more raise sizing? Min raise isn't good idea for me because opponent get good odds for call.

Yeah I agree with aleasy on this one. I like the idea of mixing it up and playing the player and you are right ABC poker doesn't do the trick anymore This was just a bad spot to make a play.

Also AKo is one of my biggest losing hands because you always tend to overplay them, even if you miss you still have 2 overcards 72 is an easy fold so you don't lose as much
