Hello guys. I wanna ask what was the best option and was it really a cooler or not. Most of people say that was cooler. But few of them said that was wrong play.

So check that one and pls share what you think.

That was G*poker(im not sure that i can tell or not) NLH 50
Hero (co) $60 AsAh

UTG (about $50) raise 2.2bb
Hero 3 bet 7.2bb
SB calls

Flop QT8r

SB leads 11.3bb
UTG calls
Hero raises all in about 110bb.

SB calls UTG fold.

SB shows J9o and i loose that one.

People around me said that was cooler. But few of them said i might avoid that situation.

So yeah. I just wanna know if that was just a cooler spot or not. If you have any idea of it, share and let me know!

Flop is pretty bad for AA especially in 3way pot. Both villains ranges are hitting well there. So you should approach this spot by asking what sort of hands SB donk bets and UTG calls.

I dont think SB should really donk weaker for value. Top pairs are usually just checking I would say. So I think this SB donk should be quite polarized. Maybe some KJ, AJ or JJ(?) as bluff and then value part some two pairs or sets. Reasonable player should not really cold call much at all versus 3bet but even tight range that is often weighted toward some 99-QQ, AQs are hitting strong. If villain is calling way too wide he will have plenty of suited broadways. UTG can also have some very strong holdings in his supposed tight open range.

So when we shove flop there is very low chance we get weaker hands to call. If villains are bad enough they maybe call with AQ, KQ, KJ, QJ type hands but mainly we are looking into some top two or better which have AA crushed. We cant probably just fold flop versus this half pot sizing so I would call and see what happends on turn. If we face another bet its time to fold.

Thank you for the answer. i totally agree/understand what you said. villains wouldn't call at that shove if they dont have better hand than me.
but the thing is, i couldn't (or still) understand what was that donk bet mean. if they hit the nut but no flush draw, i would just slow play. but he bet half amount of pot and UTG even called. so i was thinking that SB player might bluff at that spot, or even he/she reps top pair or smth, i think that one would be not stronger than me.
as an agresor, i thought i should squeeze more (or get more value) i thought that i should raise at that spot.

is it that make no sense ?

no offence at all, im listening humbly. thank you for the answer again.

Whatever it makes SB sense to have donk bet range in practice heavily depend on how his opponents are playing. Like if we are happy to cbet with most of our top pair, overpairs, AK and AJ then it doesnt make too much sense. But if we approach this spot more polarized then flop will end up checked around fairly often. Well thats at least my perspective on this. Holdem cash is one of games I have not played much at all so maybe I give too much credit to unknown opponent.

One thing to note is that SB is willing to donk bet into two players in spot where both opponents ranges are strong preflop and connect often somehow to this flop. So from that perspective we should give lot of credit for it without some specific read. If hand gets to showdown and he shows up with some unexpected hand then we can make note and adjust to that.

PS: Btw from this hand we would learn SB is cold calling 3bets with really weak hands and we could keep eye on his donk bet tendencies. Might be one of opponents who play straightforward with strong hands.

If you have info SB likes to call 3bets with a wide range you could consider to 3bet around 8bb. Flop shove seems optimistic and I would just call in position and re-evaluate the turn.
