Almost no hh against MP1, 44/44 in 9hands.

Is it good to bet river to fold out some draws?

$0.5/$1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6:d, 6:c.
2 folds, MP1 raises to $3.00, MP2 folds, Hero calls $3.00, 4 folds.

Flop: ($7.5) 7:h, 8:s, 2:s (2 players)
MP1 bets $5.00, Hero calls $5.00.

Turn: ($17.5) 8:h (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets $10.00, MP1 calls $10.00.

River: ($37.5) 7:c (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero ?

I always bluff this river when I play HU, and for sure would do it in SH and FR as the way the hand is played.

I actually would consider a small overbet(because I'm sick..) Because then it's hard for him even to c/c a 7 or overpair.

And flushdraw is also missed as well for straightdraws, witch makes it a even better bluffing card.

Agree with snodreliss.

Think you're afraid he has an 8? He has not. He would barrel turn if he had on this board. And a 7 or overpair has a very hard time calling a bet on river. So Just make a 65%pot bet and take down the pot.

I actually like the idea of overbetting. He is most likely gonna have an overpair or a draw ( which missed). For the case he has the overpair he might call a normal bet just because all draws busted. If I put myself into his shoes, I am pretty likely gonna a normal bet. It wouldn't make sense for me to call a turnbet but fold to a riverbet when all draws busted.

Make it 43 on the river. But be carefull with using overbets.
