Do you think you could find a fold if flop action would go bet-raise-re-raise ($0.80) and he shoved?
Dry board, no broadway cards, I think I'd go for re-raise and fold deppending on opponent. Some may overplay overpairs, others only sets. This spot needs villain infos, for me. Without info, I don't see much of a mistake from you, as you can be against a set, but also 88, TT and JJ.

Assign him a range and run it on equilab. Both the range assignment and the equity analyzis are worth to study in this spot.

In one side yes but in another many players are nitty and only set here. It depend how villan play postflop.

Without any info on the villain in this hand it's hard to not get broke on the flop.

Yeah, I also can't find a fold here. He might play any pair 88-JJ like this, something like 78, 89 or maybe even A5s.

Straight seems unlikely (58s is usually not a coldcall for most anymore, neither is 35s), so its only 2Pairs and Sets you lose against.

The problem is the board, on flops like this that is coordinated most players at 2nl fast play 2p+ I've rarely seen 88 or 99 doing this, those hands tend to take a passive line, but it also depends on V. TT or JJ yes, that could take this line.

What's you're reason to think of folding the flop?

Mehh.. it's probably a fold on the flop. Maybe he has 55 and 88 to do this. If you know he can have semi-bluffs like that, you can click call twice and fold river I guess..

VS unknown NL2 nit it's a bet/fold on the flop I'm afraid.

What's you're reason to think of folding the flop?

The flop fits for the caller, not for us.77,66,44,64,76,53. I prefer the line: bet/fold at all three streets with overpair in such situation.
