i've played 3056hands FL (SH) $0.50/$1.00
hands 0 to 2200: i am + $82.00
after 2200 to 3060 im now - $45.29
after getting off to a good start things seem to be plummeting down and it feels like i haven't changed anything i'm doing
is this just normal variance? am i overreacting?
if you tell me how i'll post the graphs

I played a couple of days ago for about 5 hours i think. In the first 4 and 45 minutes i lost about 40BB, but ended beeing on green. It was fullring which is supposed to have less variance.

I would say don't worry... I am in the exact same situation as you... literally... after 2.5K hands at $0.50/$1 SH I was up $75, now after 4.2K I am at -$26....
1. There are a couple things to remember... 100-200BB swings are normal and happen...
2. Don't pay any attention to your number until you have like a 20K hand sample (even then it's still small)
3. Worrying doesn't help, always work on your game

Good post Nick, that helps answer a question i've had...it's nice to have some figures from someone with more experience. I think i've been playing ok and improving, but still getting owned with my AA v J-4o, KQ v 10-3, QQ running into KK on 10 high board etc.
This has led to me going from 130BB up after the first 1000 hands, to down around 20BB after 2000 hands or so (guessing as i dont having tracking software yet...will be remedied in a couple of week) to now maybe up 10BB after 2500 hand so it's nice to know that this is within normal realms...especially after the morning i've had!!!
Looking forward now to the nice heater i'm due after the weeks of bad beats ♦
