Hello everyone,

Would play this line differently?

PokerStars - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 218.5 BB
SB: 117.5 BB
BB: 100 BB
Hero (UTG): 117 BB
MP: 236.5 BB
CO: 89 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥ A♣

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 8♥ 3♣ A♥
BB checks, Hero bets 4.5 BB, BB raises to 14.5 BB, Hero calls 10 BB

I think sometimes they play ch/r bluff OTF, so would you fold or call?

Turn: (35.5 BB, 2 players) J♣
BB bets 26 BB, fold

BB wins 34.5 BB

They play ch/r blujff OTF, but mainly with FD...That's means if you are OK OTF, you will be OK OTT as well...Very often I mean. I mean you can expect very often bet OTT from FD..This calls vs aggression (as caller) postflop are very borderline, you can fold, if you don't like it. Search for usable info, look at the players, open your eyes. You can think about HUD as well...Fast poker with so many players in the field, without a HUD...Not good...USe HUD or change the room..Imo..

If I am certain V is on FD then I call down and only fold if flush completes. I think having the Qh isn't good as you block some of V flushes, could be wrong, still learning about blockers.

It's bad, you are right. I didn't notice :f_biggrin:..You can fold OTF, only because of that...This is mainly two pairs and set, very rare some stupid hand..And FD ofc...The flush draw will be with one out less, but having high card as blocker for the FD is much more important...Because it's unlikely to be FD , even if they do that with FD sometime. And the blocker makes this "very unlikely"...
Even if the call OTF is -EV, it's not bad like the call OTT. Sometime they will check OTT. Or bet very small. But not only with pure bluffs and FD, but also with two pairs and set. And you can't bet (or raise)..I don't think you can do that. I mean it's such an ugly spot, better fold OTF vs such a size..It's over fold, massive over fold, but whatever..Vs the field will be good. Without info...You can continue here only with good info..

At higher limits they will have more bluffs in this spot. They do that, because they expect many bluffs in your range OTF...I mean value/semi-bluffs/bluffs percentages will be different. And we can call OTF and think about fold OTT, then OTR...Sometime here you can see AK, AQ, AJ, at higher stakes (or different fields) almost never...Which means here AK will be stronger hand, AJ weaker...I mean for call..Vs different field doesnt really matter. And the blocker for the FD will be irrelevant or better for call...At least OTF...Still here A:Kh: should be a call OTF...

If You call on flop his check-raise, I don't like fold on turn only AJ, JJ get better hand now (less possible than he play these hands check-raise on flop). If You think about fold, better is on flop. People on micro more times is passive than aggressive so often players check-raise here sets and aces up.

One more question, is it also bad that hero has Ac? It stops V from having weak Acx + bdfd that cr for value/protection from heroes heart draws? Or am I thinking about that part wrong?

Without read, I would fold on flop, especially with Ah in the hole cards.

You mean Qh?
Thats actually wrong - Qh gives us additional equity and AxQh is better call than AQ without heart.

As for spot - IMHO wp. On flop its already close but calling is ok with position. On turn you have better hands to call with so fold is good.

Oh, yeah, that makes sense. It's the opposite of what I was thinking.
