I think the villain is a rando.

Shove then, and hope V has a J or 8 to call vs your imaginary quads? Bet 2bbs? I don't know what to do here...

Check to the better and go for a check/raise would be my plan on the river.
Tis way you give villain change to bluff and with the J and ace in the hand it will be tough for viliian to have areally strong hand.

If you play double check then you have to check/raise 100% this. You want to build pots for your nutted hands, not hope he will MAYBE bluff.

As for river with this line - IMHO you have to check. He will have a lot of potential bluffs compared to Jx which will likely fold if you use your trademark overbet donkbet move.

CO shows K♥ J♥ (Full House, Aces full of Jacks)
(Pre 29%, Flop 0%, Turn 0%)
Hero shows A♥ J♣ (Four of a Kind, Aces)
(Pre 71%, Flop 100%, Turn 100%)
Hero wins 223.16 BB
I just went with the flow and checked river but I wondered about it later.

In general leading next street doesn't make sense if board doesn't change in reasonable way.

When you take x, x-c line you represent capped range that doesn't really improve with this river card in relative hand strength. Beside less Ax combos around. So when you have that occasional trap hand you want to also check it. Recreational players often take lead line in these spots if they were trapping because of being afraid villain checks behind. But better alternative would be to spring the trap already in turn with x-r which also allows you to leverage bigger part of stack without any absurdly big bet sizes.

PS: Villain river line is funny one :)
