On GG the closes thing to classic SnGs would be the spin & gold.
They also have the "battle royale" which has 3 phases

I have played them both, and enjoy them, but I only play the daily freebies.

If you are going to spend 1 hour a day playing - MTTs are out of the equation. So basically SNGs and Cash left.

I would recommend taking a look at Spin&Go's. It is extremely profitable for rooms to run those as they are fast and generate tons of rake, therefore rooms promoting them with leaderboards and additional rakebacks. Basic strategy is easy to master, the next step is going into GTO world - this is something that wasn't there 10 years ago. Solvers would be the best tools. I'm using GTOWizard, but there is plenty of similar ones on the market.

Honeymoon is an awesome promotion to get familiar with GG functionalities and get a boost to your first deposit.

GGpoker - make sure you collect your daily Freebie - a new ticket is available each morning (UTC time) and valid for 24 hours upon collection.

The tickets are one of three options, $0.25 SnG, $0.25 Battle Royale, and $1.00 SnG on a schedule as follows:

Sat: $1.00 SnG
Sun: $0.25 Battle Royale
Mon: $0.25 SnG
Tue: $0.25 Battle Royale
Wed: $0.25 SnG
Thur: $0.25 Battle Royale
Fri: $0.25 SnG

SnG is spin and go, not sit and go. These are either 3-max or 6-max, you choose which. Very similar to sit n go, but the prize depends upon the spin of a wheel rather than a distribution of buyins. The principal is very much the same, with 1 (3-max), 2 or 3 winners as per the old SnG payout. The difference is that the wheel gives a multiplier to the prize, x1, x3, x5, x6, x10, x20, x100, x200 (3-max and 6-max have different multipliers, so you won't see them all depending on which you chose to play).

Using the $1 SnG as an example, the prize will be a multiple of $2 (3-max) or $4 (6-max) - with the multiplier applied. You will note that the buyin is bigger than the prize pool. This dofference is used to fund the prize pools of the bigger multiplier prizes. Typically you will get the x10 multiplier approx every one in ten of these you play.

The bigger multiplier games have more players paid out, flatten blind structure and deeper starting stack, with the biggest multiplier paying out for all 6 players in a six max! The x10 pays 3 out of 6 at $5, $3, $2, and the start stack is twice as big as for the x1 multiplier.

Battle Royale is a new format game in 3 stages. There are 30 players, with the top 5 being paid out. Additionally, each player has a bounty which is given to any othet player who eliminates them.

The first stage of a Battle royale consists of 6 5-max tables in the style of a Rush & Cash game - players move round the tables randomly, each recieving the big and small blinds the same amount of times. You can fold your hand out of turn (alfhough the other players don't see this until if would have been your turn to act).

The stage ends when 15 players are eliminated, or after 15mins expires. If there are more than 15 players after this, the top 15 progress and the remainder are eliminated (they get to keep their bounty).

The second stage, 15 players across five 3-max tables, a traditional knock-out winner takes all, the winner of each individual table progressing to the final.

Stage 2 is 5 mins long, if more than one player remains on a table after this expires, the tournament goes into automatic all-in mode until only a winner remains.

The final stage, or final table, consists of the 5 winners from stage 2, who are all guaranteed a prize as well as any bounty theyve acrued so far (they will all have at least two bounties each since they eliminated their opponents in stage 2 to get to the final).

The other interesting feature which I dismissed at first, but is now proving quite profitable, is buyin insurance!

Instead of buying in for $0.25 (or $1, etc) you buyin for double. So, $0.50, $2, etc.

If the multiplier is x1, you get your buyin & insurance back,and play for free! If the multiplier is any other amount, you've paid double everyone else (who didn't also insure). You know who buys insurance as they get credited with money and a sound chimes just before the SnG deals the first hand.

Since x1 multiplier happens the majority of the time, and bigger multipliers pay much more, this can be a profitable option!

If you don't want to insure all the time, I suggest doing it combined with the Freebie ticket, and more often than not you will get a free buyin and a free go at the SnG (ticket plus insurance equals one buyin, but you get credited with two buyins for x1 multiplier).

I don't ever buy the insurance.
I haven't kept track, but I rarely see the 3x buy-ins.
Also, since I'm playing freebies, it isn't +EV to pay anything.
