Hello everyone and welcome to my (very first) blog! :welcome: My name is Hesticus and I have been around quite long in poker, however never too serious until last summer. I have read a couple of books and during some books it was going well and others not so well. I have suffered quite a downscale in my bankroll (from $200 to $100) and I know it is just bad play and maybe even tilt. Somehow, I like this game so much I do not want to give up. I still enjoy playing it, every moment. Therefore, I want to explore my options. I will show in this blog my full thinking, emotions, proud, shame, excitement, sadness and any other perception or emotion you can think of! I am starting next September with my Master degree and am working now in Thailand. I have quite some time left for blogging and playing more poker during this time. I will also do broadcasting in which I hope you like to follow me! Feel free to give a comment (how my game sucked again or what a hero call I made :) ) My goals are the following: - Bankroll of $1,000 before 30th of June 2016 - I want to be back to a $200 bankroll by the end of January - I want to play 5NL 6-handed after 40 BI ($150) - I want to have read the following poker books by the end of March: - Easy Game: Making Sense of No Limited Holdem, 3rd Edition - The mental game of Poker by Jared Tendler LLC, 2011 - 1 other psychology and 1 book of mathematics, yet to find with the help of you guys! As darkonebg has announced, I will post every Monday, starting from 4th of January. I also will message on other player's forum in addition on this forum where people might know me a bit already. I will use simply this hand converter to post my hands and will post not more than 3 hands per week for optimal analysis. I will post 2 times (mid of March and mid of June) a full analysis of my game with Holdem Manager to discuss where are my strengths and weaknesses. Have you been playing poker at all lately? Even just short fun sessions while drunk? :f_rolleyes:

Will find out in the coming weeks what I want to do with this blog since I know quite well what path I want to follow at the moment. It's just that this blog has some kind of emotional value for me. Hard to let it go

Yea I bet it is difficult to let it go. You started posting 3 years ago on this blog and you have been a part of this community since 2008 :f_biggrin:

Hey dude! I haven't been playing poker at all, not even drunk :f_biggrin:

I deliberately stopped messaging on this blog but I still haven't found a forum, also haven't been checking, think I haven't put much priority in it. I just started working after 4 weeks holiday and I have to say that my life is more structured when I'm working. During holidays I do all kinds of stuff but have all these small commitments that keep me distracted from my goals.
