I just wonder if we should widen to hands like these when we have maniac reads on 3bettor?

I would say that generally, having someone like that at the table, we actually want to tighten up pre flop and dominate his holdings.

Having an A in the combo or being ds as you mentioned should be the way to go. Although, KKxx are probably in the top our range vs maniac so it might be a 4b anyways.

Curious what others think.

against maniacs (20%+ 3bet) we 4bet 80% of our kings and never fold vs 3bet

when the action would become potentially multiway, i would switch to 4bet or fold. also 4bet a bit less, folding weak rainbowstuff, triplesuited, low disconnected single suiteds. kk98 just try pump it in

Versus over 3bettor, KKds 4bet all day long 100bb deep. 3way here I would just call. SPR is under 2 so be ready to stack off versus aggro lightly. We could just ship it in, versus their ranges we should have around 40% or a bit less 3way. If our hand was ds, we would have about 4% higher equity (and oppos 4% less, making the gap bigger).

One reason to call is that on the flop it's probably checked to aggro, and we can see what the limper does before our turn.
