The Challenge is Now Weekly

it was monthly before
This works out well for me, since quite often I would have a week or two mid-month where I don't play much, and would struggle to put in the volume to make the target.

There are no earning requirements or restrictions to claim your rewards. You can complete the Challenge a total of two times during this period.

How do I get into this? My challenges window is always empty.

Even worse, I've been halfway through clearing some high level chest and now it just completely disappeared and it doesn't display any chests for me at all anymore ♠_o: Any idea what this could be about?

My first action would be to contact PokerStars support.
The best way to do this is using the help button at the bottom of the right-hand margin in the client.

These challenges are banned in some countries, but hopefully that doesn't apply in your case.

Seems like the monthly challenge has been ended for some players including me. Any idea?

if you think that there is a problem, I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the beside "Open a new ticket"
Give them all the details you can, such as your username, the date when you joined and so on.
