Currently a clear difference between fast-fold vs. regular and Stars vs. GG.
I am apparently not able to adjust to the GG pool regardless of reg or fastfold tables.
Then clearly fastfold does not suit my style. On the one hand I feel better when I have a good feeling for the table I am sitting at, and when fast-fold, I get quickly in the autopiloting mode.
So for the time being, I will try to stick to reg tables. At least for a month.

Streaming really appears to be helping me to thin better through the hands. Nevertheless, my intellectual capacity to handle stream, chat and poker is limited.
For the time being, I will be playing only reg tables. If this means to have a much lower volume so be it, but I feel more comfortable playing reg tables and I am not so prone to auto piloting

I kept playing my reg tables and it appears to be consistently better for my playing style. Of course, this means that volume is lower. In the last 3 week I only once played fast fold and got very fast into the autopiloting. The only exception might be playing in a very small pool, where one gets the same players at the table in every third or four hand. But, now that 1 year of my second challenge is over, I am close to my "stating stack"

The last three weeks have been abysmal. This is the biggest downswing I have ever been without significant tilt. Yes there was some tilt a couple of weeks ago, but that cost me only about 4 buy ins.
No, overall I have been running bad, playing bad.
Worst of all is that I am totally clueless about what to do and how to approach this.
Yes, I will consequently drop in stakes. But other than that I have no clue.
Of course I make mistakes, big mistakes, but these individual mistakes do no account for the huge loss rate. It is the overall red line falling without end.

Been quite a while since last update. Nothing spectacular happened, other than that I stuck to my plan to go back in stakes and stick with reg tables to find my groove back. It worked quite well, I also played less, shorter sessions.
Now I am back to NL25 and try to carry the trend over into the next year.

The last 2 weeks were quite humbling. Not playing at all might have bin the most +EV decision.
Only reason why the BR has not suffered much is because of a couple of bonuses and crypto course increase. Crypto makes about 40% of my BR at this time

In my opinion the bankroll is not that important until you get to $3k-$10k roll, you could count it like from $100-$1000 but after $1000 just focus on your play and good coaches. Here is where the shift needs to happen. You need to dedicate all to playing best+studying.. counting BR at $1k-$2k BR i think is a mistake. you should move up in mindset. like what matters to you in life?
The result speaks for itself. Not much goin on. Should play even less, and smarter

You can talk in your stream in the language which you prefer. But I think you have more German viewers. I was also streamingin German. Only when I was online for Daretostreams in English because this was a rule from Stars for streaming.
To round off this week, I lost quite a few buy-ins yesterday.
A classic mistake on my part. I played MTTs and cash games at the same time, so after finishing the small donkaments, I was still in gambling mode for the cash games and kept on going. Ran bad as well.
Besides, I wasn't mentally at my best anyway, not really depressed, but definitely in a shitty mood.
The damage to the bankroll is limited, but it's still annoying because it ate up the profits of the weeks before
I'll be in Vegas next week. Not to play but to work. But there will be enough time at the end of the week to do 2-3 solid live cash game sessions on Friday and Saturday. It's my first Vegas trip, probably my last, so I'll be sure to do a little tour of the poker rooms before settling in for several hours. Any advice is definitely welcome.

by popular request, here my trip report to Vegas:
Day 1 Vegas:
After a 26-hour journey due to flight cancellations in Germany and delays in the USA, I finally arrived at the hotel. It was indeed a non-gaming hotel, but with a cool view of the Strip.
Despite the time difference, I managed to sleep quite well and even missed breakfast time.
Work was only short today, so I was able to do a bit of sightseeing. Overall disappointing if you're not into USA-style attractions. I drove to the Hoover Dam. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain all the time, so I only stopped to take pictures and then back to Vegas. I was completely amazed at how few solar panels you see on the roofs, you're more likely to find hot water panels and zero wind turbines. Quite different from California.
Back in Vegas, I went to the Golden Nugget downtown. It wasn't easy to find the poker room.
It's not very big, a bit cramped and there's the cigarette odor coming from the slot area. Otherwise, very relaxed atmosphere, extremely fast and good dealers. 1-2NLH was like NL2 online. Took me a while to realize who was limping here with KK or similar. Cost me a lot because I was called twice by overpairs when betting TP for value. At least I didn't get raised. Three hours of play was quite nice, got enough hands to play a bit. Small profit of 100$ + parking garage validation.
Sitting opposite me was Kevin Spacey, or his double (it was a younger double before you ask). He won high hands twice in the three hours I was there + a jackpot each for T-high straight flush and for A quads. But he was still a calling station.
Tomorrow, I have to work properly. If the evening doesn't bring any additional work I'm thinking about going to the Wynn for 3-4 hours. The plan is to visit as many poker rooms as possible, because I don't see myself returning to Vegas anytime soon.
And, right behind day 2 report
It was in intense working day, but it was over at 5:30 pm. So, as planned, I was at 6.30 at the Wynn/Encore. Huge place. People who stay there probably do not need to leave the resort to eat, spend money shopping, watch shows etc.
Poker room is really nice, spacious and very clean. When I got there it were again mainly tourists. However, quite a bit better, more aggressive and tougher to play. Still, almost every hand went 3-4 handed to the flop and one really needed to make hands to have chance to win. 5-6 handed happened als quite often. There was always some sticky guy hanging on until the river. So I was bleeding money until I made quads on the turn, villain rivered a straight and raised me allin although the board was not only paired but also 3 to a flush. Lucky me.
Finally got aces 2 hands in a row, both times the black aces. First time I isobet quite large vs 2 limpers, villain 3bet very large and I 4bet. Villain open folded kings. Second time almost same situation only the 3bet was smaller, so I collected less money.
At about 8.30 pm all of a sudden recreationals started leaving and local regs were populating the tables. Game changed totally, and as I knew well who the fish at the table was, I decided to leave as well.
Tomorrow there will be no poker. All work and probably lots of alcohol in the evening. Friday evening and Saturday all day there will be plenty of time to check out Aria, Bellagio, Horseshoe
