Villain is a kaptec, multitabler with sharkscope blocked.

My question is if I should bet the turn on this dry board. He is either weak and the ace finishes the hand for him, or he hit a set or something and will either call or raise me. On the other hand in case I check the turn it might induce him to bluff the river. This way he would possibly bet weak and good hands, and I'd get more value from weak hands while paying less in case he hit, which isn't likely.

vs a really good regular I can even check behind the flop. Only better hands are gonna call you anyway, his range should be exclusively pocket pairs or AQ-AK so you don't have to worry about being outdrawn.

As played I would check behind turn. If he donks into you on river call/fold depending on odds or reads, if he check river to you I would bet slightly over halfpot.

Hi all,

I love betting the flop against almost everyone because sometimes he folds low pockets etc.

As for the turn I think a check behind is best. Whiel you may be called by worse on the turn, you are never getting a third bet out of worse on the river. So just go for 2 streets of value, check behind the turn and bet the river unimproved etc.

I'm almost never folding river except to c/rai
