I have a question regarding silver articles for SSS. In one of the articles it says: As SSS player, your VPIP should not be below 6, and it shouldn't go above 12; certain players have higher VPIP, but this is rather rare.
According to starting hands chart, we should have lower VPIP than this. Does it mean that we should change the range of hands with which we play?

In advanced SSS you don't play according to the chart anymore, but start to adapt your play to the opponents and their range.
Example: The chart says that AQ is a fold if someone raised before you. But if that person is raising 50% of his hands AQ is surely strong enough for a reraise. Add blind steals and resteals and soon you will have a VPIP that's higher than 10%.
