This looks too good to be true. 50% cashback for 100 days and if can't collect 400000 points in 100 days becomes Platinum Octobus for 366 days with 35% cashback. Did I understand it correctly? I just reached first time bronze crab and got $20 from spin and probably will never reach higher than Platinum Octobus so this would be very good for me.
Is that 50% for Killer Whale calculated differently than 20% for Platinum Fish ?
I was Platinum Fish some time with flat cashback 20% During that time I collected 13228,74 fishpoints that means about $132 rake and fees and got $26,46 cashback that is just 20%

u calculated fine but the 13228 point does not mean u raked 132$. the 20% "flat" could give u 6-10% in real.
i am amazed despite of GG is the biggest/well known site for a long time still a lot a ppl do not have any clue how their PVI/reward program works.
in CG u can check it yourself. play a long session when finished check how your balance changed. then go to pokercraft and watch those results. the difference will be the actual rake u generated and u can see how your fish buffet points changed. i bet u will see that in real they only count 30-50% of your rake generated

Not needed to play long sessions, it was enough to play 2 short sessions, total 219 hands. Real RB is less than 30% when calculated from this small sample.
I opted that Killer Whale rank, plaeyd 2 sessions and checked in Pokercraft that I lost in first session $10,05 and won in 2nd $2,20 sum of 2 sessions -$8,30 that I calculated from Pokercraft game summaries. Imported hands to HM and it shows first session net loss 10,45 and in 2nd net won 1,94 , total loss in HM -$8,55. Checked balance in Olybet that is in €, it was -€7,89 what is about same as $8,55 so about $0,25 disappeared somewhere.
HM shows total rake from 2 sessions 72c. In Fish buffet received only 55,96FP and estimated "50%" RB is now 28c. actual rake 72c+25c = 97c making actual RB only 28,8%. Can't chek anymore what was real RB% for Platinum Fish compared to promised 20%.

It is important to keep the promos in mind, but not play specifically to achieve them.

Even though it's not all super transparent I still think the promo is worth it.
I've been keeping track for a couple months now and if you include LB's, flipouts & BBJ you pbb get more RB if you're volume is high enough.

i've never said there is noone to whom playing GG is not worth it.
just saying a lot of ppl playing there has no clue how things work and they believe blindly the marketing BS!
from time to time they appear on every poker forum and wondering what is happening on GG. why ppl talk about PVI, how they know about it, is it real or just conspiracy theory/rigtard BS.
The Killer Whale promotion is not available in The Netherlands due to legislation. (according to GG poker support)
They coulnd't give details, but I guess the reason for this is, that Pokerstars is also not available in The Netherlands to play poker.
And the reason for the Killer Whale promotion existing in the first place is to keep players from switching to Pokerstars, but that is not a risk for players from the Netherlands...
Not really fair though, just business I guess...
