I don't eat a lot these days — I didn't even get a second helping of fries.

Old German saying: Everything has an end, only the sausage has two.

My brother from Hamburg brought this up one time, but I had forgotten about it.

I agree with both statements. Next time I eat there — which won't be long because the same daughter works there — I will have one with the coffee with it.

We used to do what we called "parfait" which would be ice cream with some form of liqueur. Frangelico, Kahlua, Creme de Menthe etc were popular choices. I rarely see this now.

I kind of like it. "Real" shopping, that is. Online, it can sometimes be a little stressful.

Sunny day today.
I don't know the temp because the batteries have failed in my outdoor sensor

Nice day again.
Two in a row, but the mountains are desperately lacking snow, which bodes ill for forest fire season

I ran a sweep program on my computer and found 306,906 image files.
If I examined them at the rate of 1 per second it would take me 3 days, 13 hours, 55 minutes and 6 seconds to view them all, working continuously.

The sweep revealed photos that I could not find any other way. The only thing I can think of is that they're in a zip file.
Also, over 150K of them were duplicates, so cuts the work in half

What exactly is a sweep in this case anyway?

I'm not exactly sure what it does.

in Explorer, open "This PC" and in the search box put:
kind:pic
When you hit enter, it goes to work. I took several hours to complete.
It may have scanned the network locations as well — I have no way of knowing.
I copied the results to an empty 3GB drive, which also took several hours.
