Hello everyone,
First of all, I apologize if my English isn't perfect because I'm French.

I've just turned 25 and I'm starting to get results in Spin&Go on Unibet. I manage to make ~1500€ a month playing poker with a full-time job.
I'd like to try and make a living from poker by moving away from France because the taxes are too high.
Several countries came to mind: Andorra, Austria, Cambodia, Ireland, Malta and finally Mauritius.
Mauritius seems like the perfect place to try out 1 year living with my girlfriend. I ask around to see if online poker is accessible from the island and I understand that you can play on .com.
However, I contacted Unibet (the room where I grind) and they told me that Unibet.com is forbidden in Mauritius.

My question is: what rooms are available on the island? PokerStars? WPT?
And what kind of documents do I need to open an account?

I hope someone can help me. From what I have searched, there is a PokerStrategie user who lives in Mauritius: wickus. But I can't contact him directly.

Thanks in advance

Hey,

Nice post and awesome results.

Are you set on playing on Unibet? Interesting network when it comes to Spin and Go's and generally plenty of better options for you. Especially as you are french, Ipoker.FR is glorious from what i have heard.

Malta is a destination which is pretty much accepted everywhere. Very sunny there too :P

Moving for lower taxes sounds smart. Mauritius could be great, but check if sites like PokerStars or WPT work there. Congrats on the win tho.
