how long have u gone without hitting a set? im at that state of mind now that, when the flop comes, I KNOW im not hitting. im just guessing now but i would say perhaps 130 pocketpairs. no set.
oh, and guess to what i have lost AA 3 times in a row now.. SETS BABY. everyone is getting them but me. hard to be a winning player without sets.

Be patient. If you're not comfortable playing with pairs, then rather fold small and medium pairs. Don't play it too aggressive - not two situations are the same. Play the opponents and fold hands when you know that you're beat and don't push your luck.
Go over played hands. I'm sure you hit some trips but they probably weren't paid out.
Don't push yourself too much and don't be afraid playing big pairs because "they gonna hit their trips every time" because we all know they won't. Play your best game and there will come an upswing. Good luck. 
The probability that pair become a set after 5 community cards is 20.8% - low, but reasonable value. The difference is that in downswings it mostly happens to them, and in upswings to you 
Another part is that people often have selective memory, and remember losing KK to 222 much longer, than collecting third Q when two ladies were enough to win
Probability of flopping a set is 11.8% i think. So dry spells will happen. I remember having a streak of 30 flops in a row where I didn't hit a set with a PP. But there are days when I feel like I flop a set every third time.

and just counted my AA in my database. seen flop with 28 of them. and never an A in the flop. wtf. getting tired of these cards im getting...
another day. new misery. played well. but then it all started happening again. i became a setmagnet! fukin villains hitting sets in 3bet pots. im so sick of it. two times with jacks and one time with 88. all within a few minutes. i hate giving money to fish.
