Hmm. ukcoolcat, even PS.com did not give rakeback or other bonuses to its members you would be still making profit, providing that the RAKE you pay is the same whether you are a PS.com member or not.

I think you're missing the point that, once poker room takes rake this money is not yours any more, but obviously you still think it's yours. Poker room is free to make any deal with its partners and even they can give the %99 of rake paid by the player to its partners. There is nothing you can do about it. Why don't you want to accept the things PS.com has to offer you but refuse them. By refusing them aren't you cutting your own profits ?

It's a win-win situation. Everybody gains something from this chamber except the fish you play against. Why do you care, if you bought some product and the producer who gave the profit you made to him to someone else ? PS.com is basically offering pay for one get not 1 but more.

Note: I'm sorry for my grammatical mistakes and I don't mean to offense anybody.

Oh, I forgot to write a few things for SheepMoose. Dude, usually the normal English coachings from TribunCaesar, HasenBraten or Fongie etc. have no more than 35 40 listeners. In order to have such local free coachings as SoyCD said there should be demand for it. Then PS.com can hire someone to do these coachings regularly. I know everybody wants a better place and more attention.

I would suggest you to create an Australia and New Zeland topic somewhere in the forum and see how many people are actually interested in local coachings. I think, if there is enough demand then PS.com would consider more local coachings.

That's just my own opinion. Nothing official :)

See you in the IRC.

Some people just don't like other people making money off them even though it doesn't effect them in any way. Although he does have a slight point in that ps.com are an affiliate and they do give some of that money back but this deal isn't suitable for everyone there are other affiliates that will offer deals that are more profitable to them than the deal that ps.com offer.

Personally i think that ps.com offer the best deal for the beginner player until you start raking about $500MGR a month and a certain skill level maybe around NL50 and then you are better off elsewhere until you are capable of coming in the top few places in the top250 promotion. Having said that ps.com are starting to offer more rake races for example with cake poker so ps.com probably are one of the best ones for cake no matter what your level.

pokerstrategy is great. Also, im going to go ahead and jump on the "record the coachings" wagon, it seems that it would solve the problem

On the most important big poker rooms such as PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, our offer is also the best money-wise.

Of course we cannot cover the diversity of literally hundreds of small poker skins on networks who try to distinguish themselves from each other - so it is ultimately true that for a small share of poker players, there will always be a $ or two more out there.

But I'm convinced that also monetary-wise, PokerStrategy.com is the best choice for at least 90% of all players.
