So I'm assuming those are the only 6 people in the hand, which means you're on the bubble in a DoN. What is your reasoning for overpushing here? IMO you just lost tons of $EV by getting no other callers. I'm 99% sure calling here is the right play.
I would never push here. Here is why:
Reason 1- I would just call and let the other players left in the hand to call and check it down to showdown so the shortie goes out
Reason 2 - Maybe the MP3 limper has a good hand and limps to get the shortie to go all in. In that case he overcalls and if the shortie sucks out on him you are out on the bubble
I think pushing to isolate the shortstack is the worst option in this spot.
I tend to fold this hand, because he pushes after 1 limper, so his range isn´t thar loose, as he would push firstin. Furthermore MP3 will often call the shorty and we can save our chips. If we are losing this hand, we will become the 2nd shorty. But i think calling the push of the shorty and hoping that MP3 overcalls isn´t a big mistake, because your equity together with MP3 will be more than 60% against the shortstack.
Thx for the replies. I think calling is here the right option. I did not think about, that if I call, some other players would call too to get the shortie out.
