Information:
I had played no hands with Villain

My thoughts:
I think for value with this line villain has: 66, QT, J8
As bluffs: A7, K7, 77, Q7, T9? Not sure about some of these?
Given preflop action I think it is fair to rule out over pairs as these would 4 bet. Also T7 should never be in villains range. Then I block JJ, and I don't think these check/ raise flop. Also stuff like J9 and 99 I don't think check/ raise flop. Then 88 there's only one combo.

I obviously never considered 86 and it doesn't really bother me I was beat by this as villain should never have it. But overall, I just don't think I beat value and so only really have a bluff catcher in stake where people don't bluff enough. However, given its such a dry board, I snap called for that price. Although expecting to loose.

Thoughts?

Especialy the hands you think villain could bluff aren't to likely I think. Check/raising flop is a really strong move. Especially so big. Only T9 makes some sense I think, but than I don't think villains should bet the river as bluff with some showdown value. Also hands like QT shouldn't check raise the flop with only 4 outs for a straight on the flop. I think you basicly only beat a hand like QJ and that could think of thin value betting. I don't think villain has any bluff range.

Read less I would fold the river.

Thanks for the reply.

I completely agree.
I think I was reaching with some of the possible bluffs that villain can have, to try and balance the range. But ultimately this isn't a balance play.
I'm right in what I was saying then? That I don't beat value and only have a bluff catcher in a spot where villain has no bluffs.

You arre missing one thing. Pot on river is 2.19 and he bets 1.18 so around 50% of bet. Readless its 100% call there because price is so good. As for bluffs - it can be for example 6x,AT, KQ. If his bet was 3/4 or bigger then I think we can consider folding, but for half pot? Niah, never.

I agree there's an argument to be made we are getting the right odds to call, which was my thinking in the hand. But I disagree with the possible bluffs you list. I think in theory these could be low frequency check raises on the flop at best. Then in reality I believe very few people find them, especially at 5NL. So although we are getting a nice price to call, I think we realistically have one of the worst hands we want to call with.
