It´s a kind of magic.... (gardening)! ♠_o:
Finally!!! After several attempts, the lovage ("Liebstöckel") finally is germinating!!
As we got already nice, sunny and not so cold weather (the lovage and the savory need COOL temperatures to germinate), I put one of the plates outside so the seeds can germinate under natural conditions, under sunlight. And after the lovage failed to germinate indoor, we tried it one more time outdoor! And it worked!!! They´re germinating! ♠_love: Lovage is also one of those seeds which need light to germinate, which makes sowing and cultivating a pain in the bum bum! 
But here we go! Aaaw, love that herb! It´s like parsley but not such a freaking "diva"!
And the others are growing up quickly..!!! ♠_o:
Well of course! It´s the Magikoopa, who takes care of them! ♠_biggrin: We could actually already harvest some coriander and sage! ♠_love:
This puts actually the Magikoopa in the lead for "Gardening King 2025" ♠_biggrin:♠_cool:♠_ugly:
If he is successful with parsley and savory, he will be a HOT candidate for becoming "Gardening King 2025"!
But gardening season has just started .... so there are plenty of more plants and candidates coming up .... 
Do we see one of our seeds germinating here too? Still tough to tell.
My graphs continued to mock me last night, but I am happy to report that after dealing with some more nonsense like the stuff that can be seen below, I managed to tame that spreadsheet eventually and I will be able to present some stats in a moment.
Before that, let's wrap up another one of our sporting challenges.
After following the first three weeks of that new training schedule, I did a max rep attempt today and only barely managed to do 100. While that's good, it's not any better than where I was before, and if anything, I think I found them harder to do this time, not easier.
With more practice, maybe I really could go beyond those 100, but as I mentioned before, there will be another big challenge starting in about a week, so I think it's better to maintain my current progress rather than trying to push too far above it. I will therefore go back to my old practice of doing 100 pushups and 100 squats on every work day, though I may tone down the squats soon too, so they won't interfere with my upcoming running challenge.
I would have liked to give this one a more dedicated try, but I will have to do it another time. Winter is coming to an end, it will be time for some outdoor activities.
Stats Time!
Let's finally get to those poker stats, then. We skipped them in January because there was not a lot to talk about after one month of playing.
I can already tell that those data tables are getting a little wide, I guess I will have to add a new row next year. Either way, these are our overall MTT stats so far:
So far, the results don't look too bad. Note that volume has decreased with every year since 2020. At this point, we would be on pace to maintain a volume that is about on par with the one from 2023, so we are getting a slight increase again at this rate.
Badugi seems to be performing well, despite a bit of a drought lately, mostly carried by some big cashes early on. You will see when we get to the graphs.
Five Card Draw did little to convince me to keep it in the grind so far, even though we had a few cashes. At least we are still in the black overall.
Not much to say about Stud Hi-Lo, with no cashes at all this year, other than the fact that we still doing okay overall thanks to some successes last year.
Courchevel may be one of the more hopeful formats in the grind at the moment, though the inconsistent overall results, which more often than not eventually tossed me back into the red after some short-term success, make me a little more cautious overall.
PLO8 is included here for the sake of completion, with not many games to talk about neither this year, nor overall.
2-7 Single Draw may be the biggest wild card in the grind at the moment. We are still behind this year, but not by much. Overall, things are looking a lot worse, but that was then, and this is now.

It's not much, but we technically finished the month with a profit.
Not a lot going on in recent weeks, though, and even in January, it was a single good week that carried it. But boy, did it deliver...
Badugi pretty much single-handedly carries the MTT grind so far, but Courchevel is looking like it wants a place at the table.
Again, bumpy ride. A good week can be all you need.
Our MVP Badugi still finished the month at a loss overall.
Five Card Draw, meanwhile, technically finished in profit, with some massive swings. Not surprising, with only five games.
2-7 Single Draw, which finished at a slight loss, has a similar story, and a similarly low volume.
Courchevel looks like solid profit at first glance, but the weekly graph reveals that it wasn't all that "solid" after all.
A little more profit from ITMs than from bounties. This time, there is no need for separate PKO stats either, since all of our non-PKOs failed to cash this year.
These are our first 2025 stats. Some good things, some bad things, but room enough for optimism.

Sure, definitely feel free to share your gardening updates here. Those poker regulations can be a pain in the neck indeed - they were enough to make Prim ragequit Pokerstars two years ago.
Decluttering the house is also something I definitely need to do. And I assume that as a forex trader, you should feel right at home with my poker graphs.

Yes, that's definitely a seedling, as far as I am concerned.
Oddly enough, it is one of the seeds that we planted last Friday, not one of the older ones. I also think it was one of the seeds that Prim put in, so I guess that's her green thumb again...

Tonight's original run lasted precisely one hand, by the way. I immediately pushed a J-Badugi into an 8-Badugi and got out.
After taking a rebuy, it went much better.
I literally fell asleep a few times at the FT and had to be woken up by that Pokerstars sound when the action was on me, so I guess I will bid you guys good night now as well.

Strawberries and Spanish Salad
I was really really insecure when it came to cultivating strawberries. I have no experience with them and besides, their seeds need light to germinate. As mentioned I do not like those, I´m not very good at handling such seeds - and they´re often a pain in the bum bum to sow. But anyway, with the help of our "talented gardener" Iggy Koopa, we made it. Never thought, I would get so many of them, but two difficult hurdles are taken: The strawberries germinated (at least some) and now separated. Now they can grow big and strong, until they move either to the field or to the terrace in May. A big strawberry harvest would be really great. We love strawberries and there´s no chance that some of them make it to the freezer or to the marmelade glas! We directly eat them!!!

If you guys are wondering about the banner, Primrose plans to start a full challenge in a few months where she will try to grow as much of her own food as possible. I guess it's a good idea to cultivate some plants for it already.
Btw, I think I watered my bonsai a little too much, as Prim confirmed last Friday when she was visiting. I hope I have not ruined them that way already. I stopped watering them every day now, and I should probably use less water whenever I do. At least we have one seedling peeking out of the soil already.

Yes ,that´s right! And as I already have my "Koopa Freeroll Challenge" I thought, I stick with the motto (and the mascots). My challenge is about growing my own food, mainly veggies, as you can see above, I grow strawberries but can pick as much fruit as I want in our community garden. We have several trees and bushes with yummy fruits there, you just pay 60 Euro per year and you take as much as you want from the trees and bushes. We have our field, where we grow veggies and strawberries, got the terrace and a small place in front of our house. My goal is, not to buy veggies and fruit at the grocery store (or farmer´s shop) from May until the end of the year! Exception is bananas, which I love and use to buy every now and then. And of course when I´m on vacation I have to buy some veggies at the farmer´s market, cannot bring along own-grown veggies and fruits for two weeks (no space in the car), but of course as much as I can. :f_biggrin::f_ugly:
I started gardening more "seriously" during the Covid pandemic. When I couldn´t take the restrictions anymore, I decided to do something contructive, just to avoid going nuts. This was the time when I started to read about self-sustainabilty. It began as a nice hobby in 2020 and got more "serious" around 2022, when inflation hit Germany like a truck.

I still have a fair bit of doubt about 2-7 Single Draw, which bricked last night, and I mentioned before that I don't feel too sanguine about Five Card Draw either, which also got another chance. That one at least collected a minimal bounty and had a better run in general... but unfortunately finished right on the bubble in 10th place. 
Badugi helped regain those losses with another FT, resulting in a small overall profit for the night after all.
The "side game" question still remains unanswered. Aside from the draw games, there is also a $7.50 Courchevel running at similar times as my Badugi tournament. The buy-in is a little higher than what I would be comfortable with in this format, and it should also be mentioned that it is No Limit, which I don't prefer. Still, I have had at least some decent success securing ITMs in that $4.40 PL Courchevel tournament so far, so maybe I will eventually be able to give it a shot, after getting some more practice in the $4.40 game.
Finally!! Trollette Open is back!! There haven´t been so many tennis competitions near our place recently. I was registered to one but was hanging in the waiting list! Today I learnt that I got in - and so, will play a "Trollette Open" (Women´s singles 50 plus) on Sunday. Yaaaaay! Excited!
Looking forward to compete on Sunday!!!
