I am writing this post in the hope of gaining assistance and insights from others’ experiences with the poker platform WPT. For a considerable time, I regarded WPT as a reputable and reliable website for playing poker, and I had consistently been satisfied with its services—until I encountered challenges with my first withdrawal, which involves a substantial sum.
The initial obstacle I faced was the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process, which I fully support and found reasonable. My verification was successfully approved, and I was cleared to proceed with the withdrawal. Subsequently, I attempted to withdraw $20,000 via USDC. However, several days passed without any progress, prompting me to contact their support team via email. In response, I was informed that this delay was due to a standard routine check, expected to take between 24 and 72 hours. It has now been over 100 hours, and two of my transactions have been canceled. Of the total amount, $13,000 was returned to my account, while $8,000 remains withheld. I reached out to customer service again, only to receive a reply stating that they are still reviewing the matter and appreciating my patience. Notably, they failed to address my specific inquiry regarding why part of the transaction was canceled while the remainder was not.
I am now seeking feedback from this community: Has anyone encountered a similar issue with WPT? Does this platform maintain its credibility based on your experiences? I had held WPT in high esteem, but this ordeal has raised significant doubts about their reliability. I would greatly appreciate any advice, shared experiences, or assistance that could help resolve this matter.
