Hello, guys

Poker Background

I started playing poker about 8 years ago. I like playing live cash games because can't win online. Recentry, I lost a bit my passion to poker and there is no poker room in my country, so I will start this challenge for studying poker:f_cool:

My plan:
Goal
Bankroll $500 on GG poker
Crash GG 10NL Rush&Cash
Play Routine
Start from 2NL and 5NL Rush&Cash on GG.
Study

(It's okay to play other poker site for fun and not count as bankroll)
I will post my result weekly and maybe post photos if I play live:f_grin:

Wish me luck,

This is test post. I'm still not sure what report format is good.

Hands Played: 723
Net Won: -$4
Bankroll: $31

Comment:
On the 2NL, I think I did check-call too much with marginal hands:f_mad:

Comment:

I just got a lucky:f_grin:

I put my stats below and will check a month later. (I'm using H2Note Free ver. so that includes 10NL, 10NLz and other stakes.)

Any comments are welcome,

I played 2NL R&C then lost some. After that I thought could be going well at 5NL R&C then.....
I'm struggling and think about moving to Regular tables.

Someone any ideas?

Hi Visionboard ... nice you started a blog ... You seem very tight preflop (with the raising) ... but only small samples though ... what's your average VPIP/PFR/3BET ?

GL on the tables! _grin:

Thank you for the comment Stackoffski:s_biggrin:

Ohh... I didn't know that.

It's just 16k samples but VPIP 19%/PFR 15%/3BET 6.6%.
How much is average value?

(Here are some of my 10NLz samples and other stats.)

Spoiler

Thanks again, about your feedback. I will think about that.

GL on the tables too!:f_thumbsup:

Maybe it's okay for you, I am not sure about averages from winning players. It's pretty tight, but you are loosening up a bit ... every limit you gain 1% PFR :f_pleased: :f_thumbsup:

I will post in my blog how my stats compare to average winners (pokertracker feature) ... I already posted my stats as well, maybe you can get an idea ..

Good luck!

I read your post. That's pretty nice feature:f_thumbsup: and I will use that!
You really helped me out.

You have pokertracker? Nice!

You asked about the averages of the pool, this is from my pokertracker data from a sample of 18K hands at NL5 and NL10 Rush poker:

So this is of that pool, not necessarily winning players!

Hi, Stackoffski.

Wow! Thank you so much for the useful data. I thought I got 3bet often by opponents, but actually not.

I didn't have pokertracker but I'm using as trial now:f_thumbsup:

Thanks again for telling me many things!

I’m following these posts. There giving info on how to improve my own game. I learned how to play in the early 00’s, and my game is way too tight. And I can’t seem to loosen it up properly.

I moved to 5NL regular tables and seems going well. But I played some MTTs... so my BR was not increased:f_rolleyes:

Stackoffski told me about PokerTracker4's "LeakTracker" function.
I used that and my leak are red circles on the graph below, I will try to change my play a bit. (If I make a big change, maybe I can't handle then I lose a lot of money)

Nice :f_pleased: I wouldn't change a lot without knowing why though. You don't have a lot of hands, and probably the stats for turn and river will still change.

But 1 thing that sticks out is your cbet probably ... you never bluff-cbet? You can check with pokertracker's filters (maybe you have to create your own) what the percentage is that your cbets worked. If you then check what equity % your cbets need, I guarantee you it is a lot less than the fold-equity you are getting with your cbets. And then you can draw some conclusions ...

Ahh I will check my stats... I used only leakTracker, haha.
I almost did not bluff-cbet and sometimes I check on the flop with top pair top kicker or better. I studied fold-equity and like those stuff long time ago, but I forgot and maybe now is the time to re-learn.:f_grin:

Thank you for the comments, always helped me and gave me inspirations.

This week was kinda busy and bad things happened so I played almost Friday and Saturday. I won some big pot at the first, but after I did bad call, my play got worse and worse... I needed stop playing more earlier.:f_mad:
Two and half weeks later, I will visit Manila (Philippines) for playing live poker so I want to learn and play more poker.

Reading other's poker blogs makes me keep me motivated and just fun. Thanks mate!
