Haha not quite Augustus but i see what you mean. What i am really saying is if you only ever play ++equity hands you will not be playing enough hands (or get paid off enough when you get them) to make a profit.

i'm really not sure why i bothered tbh. I'll go back to using a more honest, direct approach.

How to make money at no limit hold em.
Play lots of tourneys. At some point you must win at least 6 coin flips (all in) in a particular tourney.
You must win at least twice with the worst hand, all in, in same tourney.
And your superior pre flop holdings have to stand up for the duration of the tourney. This happens about 1 in 100 tourneys but eventually is +EV.
Proper play will eventually put you a position to get this LUCKY.
