At a live MTT of 75$ buy-in, we are 20 left out of 120 and 17 get in the money, with 3 tables left.
There are no obvious really short stacks at my table and maybe not either at the other tables. Action was a bit stagnated.

At my table we were 6-handed. Blinds are 6k/12k with a big blind ante of 12k.
I have 240k chips and I raise to 25k from LJ/UTG with A♦:K♦:
I was raising several pots already so I might had a bit looser image.
The HJ shoves his 200k.

Action folded to me and I didn't think I had much choice than to call. He shows 9♦:9♠: and he wins the flip.
Is there any chance that I should have folded at that spot? Obviously I wouldn't be asking if I had won, so it's a bit results oriented but I would like to know your opinion. Thanks!

AKs is most of the time a call, but without knowing the paid out structure and stack dynamic of the tournament it could be different.

Yes I get your point, from what I knew there weren't 3 people ready to bust. But again, I didn't have a super detailed idea from the other tables.
Also, places 14-17 were paid 100$ and it went up to 1400$ for 1st, the top 3 getting the most money, I think a pretty classic pay out structure.

Than I need really good reasons to consider folding this hand. I expect a min cash isn't you specific wants to play for and than a spot like this is a good spot to get deep in the tournament.

Folding is never an option. If, because of bubble consideration, you should have folded after the shove. You should have just directly shoved yourself. But you want to induce him to shove weaker aces. So, raise/calling is probably better

If your choice is between "better than mincash", "mincash" or "no cash", I always want better than 33% chance of surviving.
You cover HJ, so they would be insane to shove a worse hand than AK.
So you have a flip between "better than mincash", and "no cash".
I think a fold to preserve the mincash is a viable option.
