So cant remember if I had specific reads in this but I think opponent seemed reggy. So my assumption was that he might be approaching flop check heavy. Though I think this is not super bad flop for 3bettor as he can have fair amount of good combo draws. Anyway I decided to check flop as I have pretty much worst possible straight combo and we should not be doing that hot vs stack off range.
Turn is nice total blank, villain bets big and I thought now is time to pull the trigger as I only need to evade one card and should be mainly ahead or sometimes flipping vs non straight hands.
Anyway I just started to wonder what type of hand would I possibly shove here other than slowplayed low straight and tbh there is probably none. Made me wonder what kind of stuff other people would use here or do you check flop in first place?
I think in this pool issue is that probably almost everyone bets straight so its kind of tough to actually rep much. I guess we could have like top set with no support and play it in same fashion.
