I’ve been involved with poker for nearly 20 years, though that includes a decade-long hiatus. Six months ago, I decided to jump back into the game. Outside of the tables, I’m a practicing lawyer, so my schedule is naturally tight; I typically play two days a week, averaging 30–35 Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs).
So far, I’ve completed 500 MTTs on GGPoker with a profit of over $700 and an Average Buy-In (ABI) of $2.60.
I’ve decided to increase my volume to approximately 50 MTTs per week with a target of $100,000 in profit over the next 2.5 years. This is my "ONE LAST SHOT" at the game. If I succeed, the winnings will go toward a new apartment for my family, and I’ll continue playing poker as a side hustle. If fall short, I will step away from the tables and commit fully to my legal career.
As a father and husband, full-time play isn't an option. I’m sticking to my regular job while grinding on the side.
BRM: I am prepared to invest up to $5,000 in total to pursue this goal.
VOLUME: Upping the intensity to 50 MTTs per week!
GOAL: $100K in Profit
I will move up in stakes as the Bankroll grows.
I’d love to hear your thoughts or advice as I embark on this journey. I’ll be posting weekly updates here to stay accountable. Wish me luck!
