PLO5 AQ98 flop decision with OESD and TP

Without A high suit this is indeed debatable iso raise hand. Especially as we likely often end up in multiway pot. So I would prefer to have bit better connectivity with low suit, e.g. AQT8ss.

As played flop cbet is ok having nfd blocker but we have to fold to raise. Once we face raise A♣: become bad card as now villain range is more toward made hand or combo draw as he can't have nfd. Our hand doesn't do that well versus either of those possibilities with weak made hand and only 6 nut outs.

Good rule of thumb is to open against one limper with one position stronger range. Here you are CO, so when facing a limper you would raise with MP opening range.
If we end up to the Flop, it's good to ask your self couple of questions:
- If I bet, is it for value or as a bluff?
- If it's for value, what do I do if opponent raises? Do I want to stack off?
- If it's a bluff, how often I estimate all opponents to fold?

Those questions make your life a lot easier, and if you don't know the answers then you should work on figuring them out. And that way your poker skills get better.

For me this seems like an easy check back, as you are quite happy to see the turn. You have some value with top pair, and 6 outs to a nut straight, but you don't want to get raised. Use the position and peel the turn.
