Welcome to my little corner where I will track my poker study and progression — mistakes very much included.
Who's writing this thing
I'm One_More_Chip on GG poker if you've ever had the misfortune of sitting across from me at the tables. I first picked up poker at 18, playing live a couple of times in the U.S. for about a year before moving back to Belgium and taking it online. Since then it's been on and off — the kind of "off" that usually means life got in the way, and the kind of "on" that usually means I just lost a buy-in and needed to fix that immediately.
How I ended up here
For the first few years, I wasn't really a poker player — I was a tilting person who happened to play poker. The pattern was almost comically consistent: start with 50€, run it up by playing well for a bit, then hand it all back because I stopped playing well and kept playing anyway. Rinse, repeat, question life choices.
I still play the occasional live cash game when I get the chance, but online is where most of the actual work happens.
I cannot calculate how much has gone through these years but I would estimate something around 1000 EUR – so maybe with your help. I’ll be able to get in back
What this blog actually is
This isn't a highlight reel where I only post the hands I won looking like a genius. It's part diary, part study log, built around two things mashed together:
- The journey — sessions, results, and the honest stuff: what happened when I tilted, when I didn't, and why.
- The strategy — the actual leak-hunting. What I'm doing wrong, what I'm fixing, what I'm learning as I study.
Since I'm starting this blog mid-year, there's no big bankroll target attached — the point right now isn't "run it to the moon," it's building the habit of actually tracking what I do and catching the leaks before they catch me.

- Result goal: Cash even for the year
- Starting bankroll: $100
- Game: Cash game, 6-max, NL2
- Format: Mostly online, with the occasional live session at a casino

Why I'm doing this publicly
Mostly accountability. It's a lot harder to tilt-quit your goals when there's a comment section watching. Writing this down also forces me to actually understand why I made a decision instead of vibing through a session and calling it a "read."
