Unless you've seen villain get out of line with weak pairs/air fold the flop.

This. You don't want to get into the habit of playing the odds independently on each street with a marginal made hand, it's easy to talk yourself into a calldown by arguing over the great odds while you're actually getting quite obviously milked.
