The basic idea of this approach is to turn your weaker hands into bluffs by playing them aggressive and abusing the fact that they fold too much, while you try to extract value of your monsters by keeping the opponent in the hand with a weaker range. Please note that this is dangerous indeed, and you need the necessary post-flop skills to navigate ugly spots. I'm convinced it is the best approach against the typical TAG fish, though.
Couldn't agree more, against nits it's best to limp raise them to see where you stand, most pay attention to your style, and will only re-raise you with AA, like I said, you need a good read on your opponent. You can win a lot of small pots against nits with air, they think you only play monsters, and when your 2-4s connects on the flop and they flop 2 pr or a set, guess who's getting paid?
awishformore, I wouldn't fold KK to an unknown or calling station, or rec player, or a weekend drunk either. You must know when you're beat, a weak-tight playing back at you is a good indication he has aces.
I have only folded KK a few times pre-flop, twice I got to see the hand played out and was right and made a good fold, others I just had to trust my instincts.
If you do run into aces then just pray you get a King.
Part of winning maximum is knowing when to fold, not praying for miracles.
