Long time since I didn't upade my blog. The english community deserves an update. Today I feel like ok to do that job.

So I left you in June. I was painfully shooting $3/6. Fews months have gone and now I think I was scared money. By the end of June I've decided to take another new start. I withdrew a big part of my BR and try to take a new start with PLO at the limit $25.

This is a fucking swingy game. Ouch. We are talking about winning or losing 40 stacks in a 10K hands. But I just love this game too. I think I'm a gambler. I do love swingy games with poor players seeking action.

Ok, so variance killed me at PLO25. I didn't manage to rebuild a BR. It swinged painfully between 1K and 2K with some tilty sessions. I need a BR to move up PLO50 where they respect my raise. (yeah, calling stations put me on so big tilt...). I was about to quit poker definitively. I put myself a rule : If my BR goes down below $800, I would withdraw everything. Well it went close to that point. One day I finished at $850. Just 2 stacks remaining... Poker gods heard my pain and then gave me a 40 stacks upswing ♦.

By the end of august, I decided It couldn't go this way. I took the decision to rebuild my BR with FL. So what's was my plan : going to Mansion, open an affiliate account with PS and take the $ with 1st deposit/regular bonuses. It was a long time ago since I've played on an iPoker room. Bonuses seems so juicy. I've grinded a lot there (that's why I'm diamond today), but where the hell is this room going ? It's full of losing reg playing tons of hands for rakeback (like dbeckham on stars). They are not very good player but there is just no way to find a table with 35% average vp$ip at the hours of the day I'm playing ($2/4). So I went throw BE sessions again, increasing my BR with bonus. Sick life. Plus the software sucks soooo much and rake is one of the highest on the market. These are all the necessary stuffs to go on tilt. iPoker are really rooms to avoid. After one other 50BB negative session, I've decided to change my room.
I've switched to FTP where I catched a long and nice upswing ♦ At laaaast. Even some PLO sessions where positive !

After 6 months with negative profit/slightly positive with bonus/RB (that's hurt so much), I managed to make money in october with both omaha and FL. My BR is just below the $3K mark now and I've change my poker approach.

Until the end of 2009, I'll play on FTP go have immediate rakeback and low rake.
In 2010, I'll play on pokerstars to achieve the supernova status.
My mind is to play as much as I can to rebuild my BR to shoot $3/6 as soon as I can. Any rakeback/bonus is worth it to the exception of iPoker rooms.

This is my plan but some a new french law may change it in 2010... wait and see.

To add some stuff I think I play a bit too loose ♦

What I mean is I do like poker. I do like playing hands. That's whay I find NL so boring. You have to wait ages before going to showdown ♦.
That's also why I worked to play a LAG style. It fit to my personality. Omaha is also a game I like cauz you play for big hands !

These days, I've gone a bit too far. I'll work to reduce my vp$ip to something like 29-31%. Removing the few worse % of my range could increase my winrate a bit. I need to play a bit closer to standard charts.

Let me begin with the beginning. iPoker skins act really like prostitutes. They are entering phase III (see this nice article: The PokerStrategy.com Bonus and Promotion Policy).

Last month, I've played like 5K on Titan and 15K on Mansion. I've cash-out all my money on both rooms. They want me to come back sooo much that I have around $1.5K in bonus wainting on both rooms. This include a direct 20.02€ on Titan. iPoker networds sucks so much that I won't ever play seriously on these rooms. What the hell can I do with this tiny money ? I can't withdraw it. I won't ever play seriously on Titan/Mansion. well... go HU NL100 hit&run ♦

So yesterday, I've opened Titan, opened the 1st NL100 table I've found. Titan froze. tiiiiilt. I've reopened Titan, reopened a NL100 table. Ok, I'm in front of a fullstack guy with approx. $30.
