I don't want to talk a lot but firstly I will try to explain why my thread is called like that. So the problem is this, I needed money a lot so I made a cash out and now there is 33$ left in my account. In past week I loved to play DONs and I will try to play them on party poker. But the buy-in will be 11$, so I have only 3 buy-ins. That is like playing a lottery, not playing poker because I don't have any bankroll now. I could move to 6$ but the rake is 20% there and I hate that... and they don't even have smaller buy-ins. And I will play 3 tables at a time, if I will get lucky and my bankroll will move up to 150$+ I will to go playing 4 tables at once.

Thanks for pokerstrategy for my starting 50$ bankroll, that helped me to buy xbox360 ;)

I will get started after my negotiation class. Wish me luck. ;)

Short-term goals:
* Moving my bankroll to 220$ (20 buy-ins).
* Cashing out 450$ to pay for the dormitory in the summer.

Long-term goals:
* Moving to at least 20+2$ buy-ins (changing poker room to PokerStars, just because PartyPoker does not have those)
* Having at least 40 buy-ins all the time.
* Making at least 750$/month.
* Learn to become a better player.

Very long-term goals:
* Black PokerStrategy membership

I only play 6-handed sngs so if I would move to 6$ sngs I would bust very fast. They don't have lower buy-ins for 6-handed players. And.. cash games... I never played them, they would call be dead money. ;)

So my first try ... :) I see three good regulars on all three tables... that's not good :(

#1 table

Interesting hands:
I don't know how to copy a hand after you are out, so I will write everything here. I am the big blind with 26... the flop comes 345... I raise because of the flush draw, another guy (one limper only goes all in) I call of course and he shows me 67 off-suit. He limped from the early position. I couldn't expect that because of the way DONs are played.
ITM: YES/NO

#2 table

Interesting hands:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3911965 your opinion about pre-flop?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912009 your opinion on what he/she had?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912032 lol, it's always nice to win on the river with 32
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912047 I called... should I fold?
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912069
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912083 what do you think? Good fold?

ITM: YES/NO

#3 table

Interesting hands:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3911990 I had a note on him that any Ace is good for him, so I thought that he has A8 ... but still not a bad call.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912053 as always... F*ck party poker, this is stupid
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912064 this hand brought me back into the game.
but in the end I finished 6th... I lost with 99 against 10Q... insane.

ITM: YES/NO

Bankroll: 20$

Ok two tables again ... :)

#1 table

After losing the second table I don't want to post any hands here.

ITM: YES/NO

#2 table

Interesting hands:
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3912402 F*CK F*CK F*CK. F*CKING INSANE. How can they go all-in on draws and always hit something that beats me. How can he call preflop with that shit?

ITM: YES/NO

Two tables again :)

#1 table

Interesting hands:
I didn't play any hands, the table was so aggressive...

ITM: YES/NO

#2 table

Interesting hands:

ITM: YES/NO

Bankroll: 45$
So I moved to 4 buy-ins now :)

I forgot about my blog but I played three and I finished two in the money.

Bankroll at this moment: 52$ :)

OK. The weekend started... A lot of donks as always and I forgot about my blog again.

So about the first table I played (I played three tables). I didn't play any hands just few blind steals with crap. 6 players left, I have 88 I raise, one guy calls. Flop comes J82 and he goes all in. I call he shows me QQ. I am happy, but the river brings the Queen. Sick. If he would re-raise me preflop I would have folded that. But...

Another two tables... All-in after all-in I didn't play any hands and both in the money.

My bankroll moved to 59$, that's 5 buy-ins... I am happy that I am still not out of my bankroll and I can collect my pokerstrategy points. And that I am helping pokerstrategy to earn more money and to make this site a better place to live. :) And of course those who don't care about the money don't get my money.

Still a long way to go to have at least 20 buy-ins.

P.S. I can already have elephant program, I am not familiar with it, is it worth having it on my PC if I play those DONs?

Another three tables and again two tables in the money. Another table lost with mis-click :(

Bankroll: 66$ (6 buy-ins).

Nice posts, man, I wish you good hands and good luck :) Sometimes it is necessary.

I do something similar. I was playing normal SnG and some cash games, but when I was running out of time to clear the starting bonus, I started to play $6 DoN tournaments on PartyPoker. This helped me to clear the bonus just in time with some (not big) profit. The rake is terrible at this stage, but with about $50 bankroll on Party I don't want to go higher unless I have at least 20x buyin (I know it is still not safe :)) Hope to stay at least even and clear the next $100 bonus. I'd go to lower limits, but they are not available on Party :(

So, maybe, once we meet at $11 limits :)
Wish you the best and not run with KK into AA too often :)

Three tables... one ITM... two sick bad beats... f*ck weekends :(

After that I got angry and went to play two heads up SNG (11$ buy-in). Both first places. ;)

Bankroll moved to 71$. It feels good. ;)

Again three tables, two ITM. The last table AK... another guy AJ... river J (J) J ....

Bankroll: 78$ (7 buy-ins)

Three tables... :) two ITM... one table I had QK, I raise with blinds being 1010Q... he checked.. I thought he has a 10, I don't know why and I checked behind him, the turn came another Q (lucky me I thought). And he went all-in. :) I called!! :) He showed me 1010 :( :O

Bankroll moved to 85$

played another 6 tables and 4 ITM :)

bankroll moved to 99$ (9 buy-ins) ;)

I played three tables, lost 2 of them and I played one heads up and lost that too. So my bankroll went down. After that I opened 6 tables at once ... :) all six in the money

bankroll moved to 129$ (11 buy-ins) ;)

three more tables ... two in the money

bankroll now goes to 136$ (12 buy-ins)

You are doing really great!
This is a big difference playing $5+1 or $10+1.

The most common it will be to be ITM 3-4 out of 6 tournaments.
For 3/6 it is -$6 loss for both limits.
For 4/6 it is +$4 (at $6 limit) and +14$ (at $11 limit).

Congratulations!

Yes, the difference is really big and it is not worth going to 5+1$. In all cases partypoker is interesting, they have huge rake and dumb players. And they don't even have 20+2$ DONs. So if I continue playing here I won't have a chance to climb in limits, all I can do is practicing opening 18 tables. :)

P.S. I started the day with three tables. Two in the money. :( The last table... I raise with AQ flop 89Q... I raise 3/4 of the pot and he calls. Turn Q. I raise again he goes all-in I call instantly and he shows me 10J. River no help. :(

Bankroll at this point: 143$ (13 buy-ins)

Thanks a lot :)
I played three tables again... all three in the money, bankroll is now 170$

Man, how many games a day are you playing. And when? :)

I can do about 3-4 games a day, about midnight when my gf already sleeps and the night is peaceful. But I play max 2 tables at once and start the 2nd one when on the first one the blinds are in 3rd or 4th level - so I have always just one table in push/fold mode :)

I don't play a lot, I wake up in the morning and open 3 tables, that takes about 1 hour to play. Then I go to my classes, then sports and so... After that I play three tables more and that takes about an hour. Sometimes I find more time but that does not happen always. ;)

P.S. Congratulations Lietuvos Rytas with a victory.

I found some time to play in the evening and decided to play 4 tables at once. It's time to move to 4 tables. ;) There were some donks... Some aggressive players so I was able to finish three tables in the money. That helped me to move my bankroll to 186$ ;)

So now I almost have 17 buy-ins. :P

very nice acheievements! although i can't see the BRM there but as long as you don't tilt it's all fine :). good luck!

If I'll be lucky and grow up my bankroll to at least 30 buy-ins I will have the bankroll management all the time. I will try not to cash out again. ;)

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3934787
http://www.pokerhand.org/?3934782

and one misregistration to Pot Limit... three places paid... I don't know what I was thinking about... F*CK Why don't they have a normal filter for people like me?

But I was lucky to finish that in the 3rd place.

The other bad thing I have to do a cash out again... :( Just because I have a debt... you know crisis... X(

Bankroll: 44$

So I opened 4 tables at once, and was lucky to finish three of them in the money. The last one lost with AK against AJ. :baby:

Bankroll moved to 60$
