How can someone call a 3bet (re-raise) and 4bet (all-in) preflop with 52o?

I just played a short session today and won $150. I just feel that i cannot play a lot of hands today, not really into my A game so cannot force it.

I was not able to play alst Friday and Saturday. Iwas already too tired when I got home last friday after work. Then saturday I had a severe headache and I end up sleeping most of the day.

Sunday, I was able to play unti earl morning of Monday and I won $280. It couldv'e been higher since at one point my winnings reached more than $400 during the 1st part of my session but lost most of it cause of some useless pushes.

Today I took a stab in NL600 but I was totally crushed. I lost $480. I spent most of my session chasing my losses.

My 1st few all ins were sucked even though I played tighter than I play NL400. I even adjusted some of my stealing range and reraising range but did not really worked.

There was this instance I was dealt with AA and I flat called in position since raiser usually folds hen confroted with 3bets and I was sucked by the big blind hitting two pairs.

Then when I tried to 3bet with KK the raiser just folded endup not getting paid.

I managed to get home at around 10:45PM today and was able to recover the losses before midnight. I end just losing -$74.55 for the day in 2455 hands.

Below is the scary graph, at one point I was already losing more than $1200. I guess I cannot complain about the result since I was able to recover most of the losses within the day.

Nov17 Morning

I was able to play almost 1.2K hands between 12AM until 3AM and won $68. Again, I took another stab in NL600 but was not successful. I was not really happy about this session since I spent most of it chasing the losses I had in NL600. I guess I am not yet ready for NL600, although the players are almost the same, most tables are too tight and there are a lot of min raises which I still need to adapt to.

I think for this month I will just stay in NL400 and will again give it a try if I will have decent winnings. My confidence is not really at its peak right since I was not able to adjust in NL600. This might affect the way I play need to start playing in limits where I am really comfortable for now.

Today I have reached $5k winnings marker and I have also released the $650 bonus in my account.

I badly need to find my leak in NL600. I am having a hard in the tables and I end up pushing with dominted hands. I am losing in NL600 and I end up chasing these losses in NL400.

I think you played it good in the start. On the river when he went all in all of a sudden you should've suspected that he had a queen, since that's the only card he needed. From my perspective, it's just too much to invest on such a draw-heavy board. Any pocket T,J,K could also beat you.

Still gotta say I'm really impressed at how you play SSS and I wish I could have such graphs.

Thanks Arisko. Yeah, the board was draw heacy but I was contented when most of the chips went in on the turn and I knew I was ahaed at this point, I was hoping for a brick on the river but it did not happen. Based on how villain played his hand, I already put him on at least top pair but not PP.

SSS is really profitable, all you need to do is believe in it and find your leak so that you can adjust your startegy.

I was not able to play online poker this weekend. My PC crashed. I went to a friend's farewell party last friday night. Then when I got home and tried to open my PC it just did not boot. My younger brother, techie as he is, just fixed it yesterday. He told me that there was something wrong with the cooling system. I am just thankful he was able to fix it.

I end up playing some live game last saturday night. I did managed to have a small winnings. Enough to cover my sunday date with my wife. Now I realised the big game play difference with live and online game.

BTW: I have withdrawn $2.6K of my bankroll. This way, I will not be tempted to take another stab in NL600.

Villain Overbets the flop and I got suspicious, if he had an overpair or top pair he wouldn't overbet so I put him on AK or AQ and called his flop bet.

You've got a stack of $93 only just over pot size why wouldnt he push ai?

I agree with tac3znarf this smells of a draw, sometimes he will show up with tp but I think often with have a draw or big cards

i'd say his range his very somewhat polarized here. he could certainly to this with overpair as well as draws. i think a call is borderline
