:spade: Jump Ahead: The first 3 month Recap As an introduction: In August I decided with all the different challenges from TheLastNail, TwiceT, opal, swissmoumout etc running that I'd try to put in some volume and made myself the challenge to play 20-25k hands of NL50 SH & FR in August. If that went well I would continue with NL100 in September in order to be at NL200 by November. I was also planning on blogging about it to let everyone know how it was going. In the end I did manage to play the hands - but didn't blog so I will now try to make up for that with a recap and some continuity. August The month started off pretty decently. After the first sessions I was up a few hundred, yet still not really happy with the way I was playing. My general stats looked ok yet I had the feeling that I was playing too tight in a lot of spots and not taking down enough pots postflop. I was also leaving out a lot of good pre-flop 3bet spots and generally not getting enough out of my opponents. So I put in some experimental sessions on NL20 and came back with a more refined approach. The result was a very good start of the month. As you can see from the Graph I managed to decimate for the first 14k hands (25bb/100) where I was just running & playing very good. Sadly every up has a down and variance soon hit. The next 14k hands were slightly negative to BE and I was having a lot of frustrating sessions. Nonetheless I managed to end the month very nicely and cleared over half of my Mansion FDB. Goals: 1) 25k Hands - Reached 2) Positive WR - Reached 3) Work on my game - Reached 4) Blog & post hands - Failed 5) 20k MCP on Mansion to get Elite Status - Reached I was also happy to finish 78th or so in the English Community Top100 rankings &diams; Mid-September Having managed to reach my August goals I proceeded with the plan and moved on to NL100 in September. I also threw in several NL50 sessions depending on how the tables were. Up until September 18th I only managed to get around to playing 2 NL100 sessions though (was too busy :/) but was amazed at the amount of fish that were sitting at every table. With only those two sessions and 3,3k hands of break-even NL50 played so far I still have a long way to go to reach this month's goals though. Once more it's: Goals: 1) Maintain Elite Status at Mansion (20k MCP) 2) Play 10-15k hands of NL100 3) Continue to study and work on game 4) Blog & post hands

Hi Flopper8,

Only two short sessions at NL100 - down a buyin each through coolers and lost 80-20s. My bad luck thus continues :/

Ladbrokes traffic is decent as long as you play SH - its on the Micrograming network.

@fostieh: You mean the placing on the table? I don't use the mini-tables and usually play SH - so its possible to fit them. On FR tables it does get quite crowded though.

If you add the previous months (actually as of hand 23,5k or so everything is in Euro so the true winnings are closer to 0 or negative)

I try to be non-results oriented but its seriously getting close to impossible when I lose every fckin all-in.

SOY: Not sure if it helps but the same thing happened to me.I was a very solid winner with 9BB/100 over 25k hands on NL 100. Now after 40k hands i am breakeven. Had to move down a limit because of such downswing. Keep your head up!
