depends... what read you have on the guy ? if he frequently raise from late then good play
i like it. if it was first time you did that he has to give you respect and at worst you'll be 70/30 . most of the time you are 60/40 underdog if he calls but you also have a lot fold equity.

I'm not sure about the play... if you think you have some fold equity it is probably a good move.
But about the cashout... don't do it. In the cashout tournaments your buyin is split between two prize pools... half for the cashout and half for the tournament prize pool. The cost of making a cashout is that you must give up your share of the tournament prize pool. Just don't do it. -EV decision in the long run.
